Staff were nice and welcoming. Staff speaking English was a highlight that reduced stress while staying in a foreign country.
Room and rest of hotel was clean with excellent amenities.
The library is a nice area and the afternoon tea was a good price. There’s a McDonald’s and convenience store along with several other restaurants and spa within the building. 5 star amenities and location for an excellent price.

Didnt have a microwave in the room. And the mini bar was not too cold but I was still able to use the fridge.
The ridiculous amount of charge for laundry. Practically $30 PER shirt?! Laundry typically costs a few dollars for a whole bag of clothes so that was very unexpected and I had planned to do my laundry there but that was no where a reasonable price so I didn’t get my laundry done.
And while some of the food was a decent price, others were exorbitant so you never know what you’re going to get.
Additionally hotels have started now to not create privacy for bathrooms or showers. I was staying alone so it was fine but I couldnt stay there if i was staying with a coworker or family/friend that I would not feel comfortable changing clothes in front of.
The apartment and location were perfect and staff pleasant and wanting to help
The only disappointment was with the food and drinks .The breakfast selection was good but the English Style breakfast items ie fried eggs bacon beans etc stored on heated metal trays were never hot enough and frequently almost cold .
The wine selection on exec lounge was of poor quality and could be much better

Hotel was ok
The hotel itself was generally OK, but I need to highlight a very serious issue regarding payments and transparency.
I booked through Booking.com and handled most of the payment through the platform. However, it was not made sufficiently clear before arrival that the hotel would require an additional deposit at check-in.
At reception, the staff’s English was very limited, and the total amount being charged to my card was not clearly explained. As a result, I effectively had a significant additional amount charged/blocked on top of what I had already paid for my stay.
At check-out, I was assured that the deposit had been released and would be returned to my account.
Five weeks later, I still have not received the money.
After contacting the hotel again, their position is now that I need to resolve the matter myself with my bank. I find this unacceptable. If a hotel requires an additional deposit, it should clearly communicate the amount and conditions before charging it and take responsibility for ensuring that the funds are properly released.
Because the money has still not been returned, I am left with serious concerns about the way deposits are handled at this property. From a customer's perspective, an unexplained additional charge that remains missing five weeks later can understandably raise concerns about whether guests are effectively being overcharged.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel. I strongly advise future guests to clarify in writing exactly how much will be charged at check-in, what portion is a deposit, and when and how it will be returned.

Location it’s a good!
The air conditioning did not work at all!
It was blowing warm air instead of cooling the room. The windows could not be opened, and there was barely any air to breathe. I asked the staff to open the windows, but unfortunately, they said it was not possible.
They brought a portable air conditioner, but unfortunately, it did not cool the room either.
Thank God, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They quickly found a solution and moved me to another room.
