Aloft Beijing, Haidian

Friendly staff and great service. The only complain I had was the water shut-off in early morning hours due to maintenance.

Very nice and clean room! There is a nice desk and work station with many plugs. Bed is huge and bathroom is clean and spacious. TMOT was a little cold the first night( but there is no heat you can turn on. Cleaning lady is extremely helpful and friendly. One of the receptionists knew little about the surrounding.

Smoking is prevalent in China, however, the hotel has adopted this smell throughout the building. Even on the non-smoking floors, you can still smell traces of it. I don't know if the non-smoking floors have individual air flitration systems that keep the air going into that room separate but I had to adapt to the smell since I was there for 20 days. My breathing machine ended up with the smell ingrained inside when I got back I could still smell the room where I was staying in.

However, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is decent but might want to try variety if staying there for longer periods of time. Beds are on the harder side but after getting used to it you will have a great nights sleep.

Laundry and dry cleaning are comparable to the US and I was satisfied.

The pool was closed. The food in the evening was good, but a little pricier like American prices.

Internet was dependable only that you can't access certain sites because of the firewall in China.

Complimentary bottle water service goes a long way. Dont drink the water.

Was unable to connect to the HDMI into the media panel for the TV to watch items from my laptop but I just accept that the remote and tv were in Mandarin.

Great location and close to lots of restaurants and a mall.

The property was indeed a 3 star property in China. overbook, but the night staff was very nice and helpful. Strong smell of paint or chemical in the room. very minimal amendity. looks OK clean. it is cheap though.

One king size bed cannot fit for three adult. In fact two queen size beds can fit better.

Felt like typical Aloft other than the fact that the A/C was not working in the room. Room was consistently 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Asked for it to be taken care of while we were out of the room, but it was not addressed by time we returned hours later. Was exhausted and ended up just opening the window for the little gust of wind we could get.

Good business hotel. Had to ask to change room because the first I got smelled like an ashtray, but other then that I had a great stay

Good hotel. However location is quite hidden by Four Points by Sheraton.

This hotel in a very good and convenient area in Beijing. However, i stayed 3 nights in Four Point Sheraton which in same property (100m away) that was a top quality hotel which can't be compared with ALOFT. The price I paid was a little different but it worth twice of ALOFT!
In overal, this is good hotel if you can get 30% cheaper that Sheraton!

The room is great the neighborhood is so so. There is a giant mall next to it but I never made it there. The bar downstairs is a lovely quiet place to have a glass of wine

Lost items while my luggage was stored at the hotel storage unit.

It was a quick two-day biz trip in December. The hotel is overall nice with polite staffs. The only thing I was not quite comfortable with is the room temperature. With the heating on for several hours, it was still kind of cold (not unbearable but I can certainly feel it). After the staff came up to check, I was told the heating system was ok. That is the best the system can do. Still, overall a nice place.

We've stayed at this Aloft many times. Room is spacious and clean, the bed is very comfy. It has a very modern deco. The staff is very helpful at check in although I would say they are a little short staffed. Overall Very satisfied with the stay.

Hotel room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Very good bed. Far from main attractions but 10 minutes to metro which is the best way to get around. Food is expensive if you don't have breakfast included which we didn't.

I stayed at this hotel two weeks in Beijing
The service at the hotel was excellent, the room neat and luxurious, soft towels every day, mineral water, browse fast and convenient wireless, talked freely Skype.
Location of the hotel about 10 minutes walk from the subway line 10 CHANGCHUNQIAO
Near the hotel there close to Super Wal-Mart downstairs in a place that has a great foot massage for 88 yuan.
There is a large shopping mall with supermarket LOTOS and a large shopping mall with a huge food Ground floor 5 Hike along the whole floor.

Service: Inferior, Awful, Worse service every exp. ;
Took more than 45 mins to check out. Absolute shambles in reception. Noone has a clue. So slow.

I really like this hotel , for the price it an awesome place to stay in Haidian District, Beijing. .It is a little far from downtown Beijing , but should be ok.
First of all , this hotel is new , so its really clean and good,friendly staff even though some of them had hard time understanding English, they tried to help me in ordering Vegetarian Food , its just that you have to talk slow and to the point :)
Four Points by Sheraton Hotel is in the Adjacent building so there are couple good restaurants and ATM machine in their lobby , which can be used as both Aloft and Four Point is owned by Starwood properties.

This hotel was decent, but there are better options in Beijing. The rooms are clean and the hotel is decently run. However, the location is a cab ride from everywhere, even in Haidian. There were also a few bumps in the way the hotel was run: I was initially sent to a room that hadn't been cleaned, and the "open 24 hours" gym was closed at 11 pm.

The Hotel is located near the 4th ring road, which is about 45 min outside of Beijing downtown. there isn't much within walking of the hotel. Hotel Staff are young and nice.

Nook the restaurant in the hotel is good and hotel next door has 3 restaurants.

unless you have business near by this is not a hotel for holiday travel.
