Stayed for three nights as part of a city break. Room was basic but comfortable and warm. Bathroom was a little tired with a very noisy fan but did the job!

Fantastic hotel in a great location. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
The facilities were great, with the benefit of a kitchenette in the room. The shower was hot and strong enough. The room was clean and warm. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and served from 6.30am until 10am. We always managed to get a table.
We were in a room at the front of the hotel and it was quite noisy on the Friday evening, this didn’t bother us though because we were absolutely exhausted from all the exciting activities we did during our stay.
It’s a 5 min walk from bus stop 6 which is a main pick up and drop off for lots of tours.
If we visit again, we will choose to stay here again. Thanks.
We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Frón during our trip to Reykjavik. The location is absolutely perfect — right on Laugavegur, the main shopping street, which made it incredibly easy to explore the city’s restaurants, cafés, shops, and attractions on foot.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Despite being in the heart of the city, the room was quiet and peaceful at night. We were a bit surprised though that we had to make up the couch bed ourselves (duvet etc was in the wardrobe.
The staff were friendly at the restaurant. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free but the people at the desk never greated when walking past.
Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options to start the day right.

I had only good things to say about our stay here. We picked it because of the great downtown location. It’s right in the heart of Reykjavik. The lobby is small but don’t let that fool you the people there are nice and very helpful. We got in super early and I asked what time would be the earliest they would let us in our room, we were like 5 hours early. We were told if it was ready we could have it now, and it was. We got in so early and took a nap and it saved our day! They also helped us with parking and we had to leave early and miss breakfast the last day so they made us to go bags with a muffin, juice and banana. I was impressed with the hospitality. I dealt with two women and one gentleman and all were so nice. The European style breakfast was also good and was sad we missed it the second morning. Pleasantly surprised by this place and think it’s a gem.
Hotel is in an amazing spot. Right in the thick of it with lots of bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets all close by! Plus it's only a 5 minute walk to where the fly bus drops off and picks up for hotel transfers.
The room was bigger than it looked in the picture and was comfortable and clean and most important, not too hot which was a genuine concern.
Finally, the breakfast was nice. Plenty of options and l had lunch in the restaurant on my arrival and it was tasty and great value for money.
Nice, affordable studio room, smack in the centre of the city. We stayed for a week and the room was decently sized with a reasonable amount of storage space. Generally, not too noisy EXCEPT when there is live music from nearby venues, then it can be a bit much at 3am. But our room faced the main street, so it’s hardly unexpected. The shower pressure was generally dire. Oh, and for the love of god, the cleaners need to re-stock tea and coffee properly. Green tea, berry tea, but rarely a normal tea. One day, ALL the coffee sachets were decaf (how’s the wife going to wake up on that?!). And one creamer to share?… But it’s a nice place. Staff were pleasant. Breakfast was minimal, but fresh. Rooms were clean and the location was perfect for travelling, exploring the city and eating out. One other caveat: It’s a good five minute walk from Bus Stop 6. All uphill. So bear that in mind when you are lugging your heavy cases. On the way home though, it’s awesome… wheeeee!
Amazing stay! We stayed for 4 nights the location is perfect, the room was a large studio and very comfy bed! Our room was at the top at the back of the building so was quiet at night time, i imagine the front would be much nosier as its the main street for bars.
The food at breakfast was nice but got busy we struggled to find a table one day.
Would definitely stay again
I would recommend staying in this hotel to everyone. I thought it was a very good value for the money - I had a livingroom, kitchenette, separate bedroom, balcony. The hotel was very clean and served a free breakfast. I could not think of a better location for a hotel - right in the middle of the city and only a short distance from the bus stop. If I go back I will stay here again.
We stayed at this hotel for three nights and experienced two different rooms during our stay. Both rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well equipped with all the necessary facilities.
The hotel is located right in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance of the main attractions and popular city walks, which made exploring very convenient. The staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay, and the breakfast was excellent with a good variety to start the day.
Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we would happily recommend this hotel.
