A Great Spot in Trapani!
Pros:

Good location, lovely staff, very clean, lots of room.

There wasn’t anything not to like - the restaurant was not open due to an issue - but they made alternative plans for breakfast around the corner.

In una camera il bagno non riscaldato perché troppo distante dalla pompa di calore, nell’altra camera cattivo odore nel bagno proveniente dagli scarichi, la terrazza e il bar ancora chiusi a metà aprile

Zentral und trotzdem ruhig.
Pros:

Trotz sehr zentraler Lage in der Fußgängerzone war das Zimmer ruhig, sehr sauber und geschmackvoll wie auch funktional eingerichtet. Die Anreise mit dem PKW und Gepäck ließ sich zum Glück gut lösen, das Hotel bietet einen kostenpflichtigen Parkservice an, den wir jedoch nicht genutzt haben. Vom Balkon mit Meerblick konnte man den Sonnenuntergang bewundern.

Cons:

Die Bettdecke war für die Jahreszeit zu warm. Die Kissen waren jedoch super bequem.

Pros:

The staff were courteous, the hotel's location is just perfect, three minutes walk from the town hall and main pedestrian area. The neighbouring restaurants in the old town are mainly casual and offer tasty slow food, especially seafood palate, at very competitive prices. Speaking fluent Italian opens up the world for you. A visit to Erice was very enjoyable, despite the downpour and closed sites, other than the beautiful Chiesa Matrice that opens at 10am. A day trip to Favignana in the Egadi Islands was also enjoyable, including seeing the spring flora in bloom and having a nice lunch of local pasta at La Lampara. The librarians at Biblioteca Fardelliana in Trapani and the Biblioteca Comunale Carvini in Erice were all very helpful. Might consider a three-day summer stay on Favignana in the future, or hiring a car to revisit Erice at leisure and explore the hinterland, including Segesta.

Cons:

Nothing to do with the hotel. Trapani, however, needs a very serious clean-up if it wants to consider itself as a tourist destination, and offer more heritage sights other than ecclesiastical ones. It gives the impression of poor public administration and there is no evidence of integrated heritage site management. There is still signage of permanently closed sites, such as the San Nicolo catacombs. The Florio tuna production heritage sites, and family town house in Favignana were also closed. The lowest point of my stay was encountering the public officer at the Archivio di Stato di Trapani who was grumpy and unwelcoming,

Pros:

The place is in a perfect location and the apartments are very spacious. It's nice to have a staffed reception.

Cons:

We had the worst nights of our travels here. There was a storm and something was banging all night above us. I went downstairs to let them know at 11pm and ask for earplugs, which they didn't have. They told me there were no rooms above us, so it must have been the storm but they did absolutely nothing to go check even though the property is all owned by them. Also, our bed was composed of two single beds pushed together; since we sleep with our baby and that's the understood arrangement with the hotel, it meant I had to sleep right between the two single beds and my back is still hurting after days.

Duże rozczarowanie z małymi (miłymi) zaskoczeniami

Cons:

➖ Na dzień przed przyjazdem otrzymaliśmy informację, że śniadania (które miały być oferowane w restauracji) będą serwowane w pobliskiej kawiarni - podczas gdy wybraliśmy ten hotel właśnie m.in. ze względu na śniadania na miejscu. W dodatku, po skontaktowaniu się z obsługą hotelu w celu zmniejszenia ceny o śniadania (które nie będą oferowane zgodnie z pierwotnym założeniem, w momencie składania rezerwacji) uzyskaliśmy informację że nie jest to możliwe. A jednak na dzień przed przyjazdem obsługa Hotelu skontaktowała się z nami poza Bookingiem w celu dokonania nowej rezerwacji (z opcją bez śniadań), podczas gdy anulowanie rezerwacji wiązałoby się ze 100% płatnością za obecną rezerwację.

➖ Restauracja także była wyłączona z użytku przez cały nasz pobyt.

➖ Bar na tarasie także nie działał - pomimo, że nie było tej informacji podczas składania rezerwacji na pobyt. Uwaga: jest otwierany tylko w sezonie.

➖ Najgorsze było to, że nie zostaliśmy poinformowani że woda w kranie nie nadaje się do picia ani mycia owoców/warzyw, a podróżowaliśmy z małym dzieckiem. Informację znaleźliśmy dopiero sami w informatorze w pokoju. Pomimo to, w pokoju przysługuje tylko jedna butelka wody / kapsułka do ekspresu na cały pobyt, co w przypadku 4* hotelu jest poniżej oczekiwań. Na koniec 5-dniowego pobytu został nam przedstawiony rachunek w celu uregulowania płatności za wodę pitną w butelkach (która była dostępna w pokoju) i kapsułki, które w recepcji są oferowane gościom bezpłatnie.

Od hotelu o takim standardzie wymaga się jednak więcej - jesteśmy rozczarowani.
