Just wanted to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation for the wonderful service and hospitality we received during our recent stay.
As always, everything was superb; however, we particularly felt that the hotel was even more well organised in many ways this time. Having stayed at the Marriott Chiang Mai regularly for around ten years, it truly feels like our second home, and on this visit we felt that more than ever.
Please do extend our thanks to the entire team, especially the Club Lounge staff. We noticed there are quite a few new team members, and the training must be excellent as everyone we encountered did a fantastic job.
In particular, we would like to pass on our compliments to Khun Cartoon, Khun KT, and also the manager at the breakfast area (the gentleman with glasses), who were all most attentive.
Cannot wait to go back again very soon

My husband and I truly enjoyed our time at the Marriott morning and evening buffet. There was a wonderful variety of foods to satisfy every appetite, from delicious Thai cuisine to Western dishes.

Close proximity to the night market. Staff was amazing.
Pool area was too small for such a big hotel. Limited numbers of chairs around the pool. Impossible to get a chair
A deeply disappointing experience. This hotel charges extremely high prices but delivers a level of service that is far below what one would expect from an establishment of this category.
The manager apologized and blamed the problems on the hotel being fully booked. Unfortunately, that explanation only highlights a serious management issue: if the hotel chooses to operate at full capacity, it should also be able to provide the service expected at these prices.
Breakfast was chaotic, with long queues and a dining room with no view and no atmosphere. Service was slow and clearly overwhelmed.
The restaurants within the property were equally disappointing. The food quality was mediocre and absolutely not aligned with the hotel’s star rating or the prices charged. The feeling throughout the stay was that everything is priced at a premium, yet very little delivers the quality or uniqueness that could justify such prices.
In short: very high prices everywhere, but service, organization, and food that fall far short of expectations.
reception and lobby staff were super helpful and accomodating and the breakfasts were superb!
This was an incredible restaurant. My wife and I came here for 2 dinners in a row because the food was so good! The staff was exceptional, Pla, Pat, Jasmine and Fah were all very kind and accommodating. I would recommend to anyone in chiang mai looking for Italian food and great service.
