Location was fantastic.
Accommodation not so fantastic

Cons:

The room needed lots of maintenance.
The balcony door was nearly impossible to close.
The shower door and the soap dispenser inside the shower was broken
The shower door cant open fully as it hits the towel rail.
The bathroom door gets stuck on the ground

Worst house in the best street!
Pros:

One of the best locations in Auckland.

Cons:

Very run down, we had 2 rooms each with a bathroom. 1 shower couldnt be used as it was completely broken, tiles cracked on the floor, paint/furniture chipped & very tired.
Fridge leaked water all over the floor which had to be continually mopped up.
Carpets were "sticky"
Sofas were worn & sagging,
Internet could only be used by 1 person at a time & even then very slow verging on not working.

Very central location
Pros:

Excellent size 1 brm appartment. Spotlessly clean. Really comfortable king sized bed. Small balcony with a view of the park across the road. Great kitchenette with full size fridge freezer, and dishwasher drawer, oven, and 2 burner hob. Large dining table, excellent as a work desk at one end and dining table at the other, and 2 x 2 seater couches. Washing machine and drier in the bathroom

Cons:

Having to go up a set of 5 stairs in the hallway was a surprise - I have a knee injury, so deliberately booked there because there was elevator access .... the building is a split level type concept though, and our apartment was up five stairs after the elevator ride - difficult for lugging lots of luggage to your room, and really difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The shower over the bath was disappointing for the same reason - clambering over a bath with a knee injury is difficult. Otherwise though - awesome place to stay
