Coral Hotel

Just got back today 29th June. Ideal location. Bus routes. And easy access to buggibba square and local bars. Basic but clean and staff very polite and friendly. Would use again. No frills but great value. 24hr reception.

When we got to our room at the hotel it absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke really strong. The room was clean enough just couldn't get the stinky cigarette smoke to go away.
Beds and pillows are hard and not comfortable and there are only two large towels, no bath towels.
Breakfast was tasteless and the juices in the machine are watered down so much you can't tell what flavour they are.
Staff was ok but I wouldn't stay in this hotel again.

Abbiamo pernottato 3 notti, apparte che la struttura è un po' vecchia, ma pulita, personale gentile, colazione abbontante, ci siamo trovati bene.

Enkelt boende i utkanten av Bugibba. Finns en buss som går ut ur staden. Några få bussar att ta ner till centrum. Ligger utmed en trafikerad gata, som kan störa kväll, natt och tidig morgon. Lyhört, hårda sängar, okej frukost ( ingick i priset) annars 8 EURO /person.
Billigt boende om man inte har så höga krav.

Fantastisk hotel til prisen: smilende og venligt personale, god daglig rengøring, full english breakfast, taxi-service. 5 min gang til centrum og strand. Mange restauranter og supermarkeder omkring hotellet. Roligt område. Lokalt.

The coral hotel is great, I read the reviews and was apprehensive. BUT I was pleasantly surprised, it’s a basic hotel but the staff make it especially shuhaib he was especially welcoming and could not do enough for us, he was a constant friendly face around the hotel.
The breakfast was great, hot and fresh.
I would be happy to come again

This is a great hotel if you need a base to explore. It is clean but basic. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise and was great to fill up before heading out for the day. The staff could not do enough for you and are so friendly. Shout out to everyone especially Shuhaib and Eugenio! Keep smiling and giving great service. Will be back if I return to Malta

We stayed just for one night and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is clean, basic but a large room and in a great location.
The young lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming - we saw her at breakfast too!
Not a lot of storage space in the room, but if you're after a good spot for a short break - then this is your place.
For the price, it is definitely worth it.

Worthwhile staying if you want a clean, tidy place to stay. Think premier inn rather than the Hilton!
We weren't after glam just a place to sleep, sh*t, shave, shampoo!!!! 😂😂

I have been to the Coral with my children for the 3rd time this year,just arrived back in uk today.The staff recognised us straight away and couldnt do enough and the new staff as well..Yes its not the Ritz,but its central to bugibba square and all you need from a maltese holiday.Rooms serviced every day and all the areas are kept in good order,The staff are helpful and will assist you anyway they can.Swimming pool on the roof is a god send and could do with a couple of repairs to the handrails.Other than that if you are looking for a cheap hotel with a good breakfast,lovely staff and a central location this is the place..See you again next year.

I stayed at the coral hotel for a week from 21st to 28th of July with my wife and granddaughter. The hotel is well placed and close to some bars and restaurants and walking distance to the main square where you find lots more and all night life. Some of the reviews almost put me off coming here, but I'm glad I didn't take any notice as yes the hotel is a little tired but it's clean and the staff are friendly, rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed no problem breakfast was okay and hot and what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. We had a great time and would return.
Tip: Use the Bolt app for taxi and food delivery, lots of discounts and quick service, well worth it.

The price for this one night stay hotel was very reasonable staff very nice, friendly and always helpful, excellent location great atmosphere, the room was huge and clean comfortable bed bathroom was nice shower and sink were both working great nicely only a 15 bus ride or walk to the Bugibba bus terminal/promenade, the only downside is that the air conditioning wasn’t working and the breakfast was just average even though it’s included in the price k. Other than that I enjoyed my stay here.

The best price-quality ratio. Clean rooms, good and hearty breakfasts, good location and, above all, very polite, nice and helpful staff. I recommend.

Comfort appropriate to standard, very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel located within walking distance to public transport, though windows overlook quite a busy street. Good breakfast, efficient service. Room cleaning ok, but could be improved.

To be completely fair. For the price I wasn’t expecting the ritz. However standard hygiene and cleanliness shouldn’t have to be shocking.
From dirty socks in the balcony. To poor repair jobs. Loud noises throughout the night from their systems whether it be air con or constant running water sound. Bodged repair jobs on doors leaving huge gaps and noisy people staying at the hotel. Less than desirable breakfast. But staff are ok and it’s not too far from St Paul’s for a walk albeit plenty of dark areas and building sites. It’s a budget hotel. If you get it cheap. You get what you pay for. Simple. But I’d suggest spending more somewhere with a view etc. the pool was dirty and full of insects etc. as I say. It is what it is for the price.

Lovely people, very helpful. Very cheap which is reflected in the poor quality mattresses and pillows which smelt stale. Food basic but ok. Good location, just a few minutes from the sea front. You have to pay extra if you want your room cleaned, also if you want a kettle and tea making facilities in your room. TV only had one English speaking channel even though guide said a few, but we only got scrambled signal. Fridge and safe in the room. Balcony although on a noisy road. Water in pipes loud and flowing all night. Water hot and good pressure. No toiletries apart from 2 small bars of soap. No frills but you get what you pay for and it was cheap.

I had an incredible stay at the Coral Hotel! The staff treated me like royalty with their top-notch service and kindness. The price was excellent for such a luxurious experience, and the hotel was very clean and organized. We will definitely come back, and I can say that the Coral Hotel is perfect for families. I highly recommend the Coral Hotel for a fantastic and memorable stay.
