Alles war einfach top. Alle waren äusserst freundlich. Die Zimmer waren super, und die Nähe zum Strand, trotz Strassenüberquerung, war ebenfalls hervorragend. Es war eine perfekte Balance zwischen urbanem Leben und Erholung. Es hat einfach alles gepasst, und mit Baby war der Aufenthalt besonders angenehm. Auch der Pool war sehr gut, und das gesamte Angebot hat gestimmt. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben, aber leider war alles ausgebucht.“

Pros:

Loved the room and the way it was designed, as well as how tidy it was. It was great to be so close to the beach.

It is quite a distance from the old town, unless you want to pay €7 each way to get a taxi

Just amaizing !!
Pros:

Our stay was simply perfect. Celebrating our wedding anniversary here was the best gift we could have given ourselves.

We were truly touched by all the lovely surprises and thoughtful details prepared in our room. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and special.

Warm and welcoming hotel, perfect balance for a relaxing stay but also getting out and about!
Pros:

It felt very safe and the staff were all fantastic. You really felt their presence but in a non invasive way. Someone always around and any questions we had were answered straight away. It felt lovely and clean! The breakfast was very good and we really appreciated the briefing on the first morning! The hotel is in an excellent location with everything you could need right on your door step. Our children cried when we had to leave as they had such a great time. Special thanks to Anna in the kids club who we all loved!

Cons:

We booked the 2 bedroom family room, which had beds in the living room and then a separate bedroom. The main door opens into the living area and we didn’t feel comfortable with our two young children sleeping there whilst we were in the separate room. We ended up putting our children in the big bed in the bedroom and we slept in the sofa beds pushed together. Not a huge issue at all but just something to bear in mind when booking.

Highly recommend, lovely beach front hotel
Pros:

Lovely clean rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely recommend. Approx a 40 minute walk to Rethymno town. Great access to the beach.

Cons:

Pools were a bit small with limited beds, but lovely nonetheless.

A wonderful week made even better by your lovely staff!
Pros:

Just returned from a fantastic week’s holiday at the Grecotel Park Plaza, and what truly made the holiday so special was the incredible staff who went above and beyond. Lovely waitress Elini, the lifeguard (whose name I can’t remember) and Anna from the kids club are both total gems and were fantastic with our toddler Oliver. They really embody five- star hospitality and service. The cleanliness, delicious food, great cocktails and quiet atmosphere in the evenings made for a wonderful week away. We hope to return one day!

war ok, aber im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels etwas zu teuer

super freundliches hilfsbereites Personal, Empfangsdrink, schönes Hotel Ambiene, gutes Frühstück und Abend Buffet, Zum Glück großes Zimmer im Haupthaus mit nur paar Stufen (dahinter kleinere Häuser mit vielen außen-Stufen zu den Zimmern)

Cons:

auf den Fotos sieht man nicht, dass zwischen Hotelanlage und Strand die Haupt durchfahrtsstraße zu überqueren ist. der Pool ist etwas klein und auch nicht tief. Vorab Information wie man Hotel Parkplatz findet wäre hilfreich

Wonderful location and helpful staff
Pros:

Wonderful location though a little noisy next to the road.
The room was quite small and there was nowhere to sit except a low sofa which we both found quite difficult to get up from. We are elderly!
We had been expecting a one bedroom apartment and there were no cooking facilities.
The staff were wonderful, helping my husband who is disabled with promptness and good humor.
Breakfast excellent. Good choice and good variety.
I would especially like to commend the pool attendant (?Despina) whom we found very helpful with moving outside furniture and helping my husband move from inside to poolside.
