Hotel relativ sauber, bis auf Ameisen-Kolonie im Bad. Pools enttäuschend flach und klein.

Personal stets freundlich und bemüht.
Personal ist sehr Kinder freundlich.

Cons:

Essen im Hotel Restaurant separat dazu buchen / separat Essen im Hotel kaufen sehr sehr teuer und Qualität des Hamburgers eher Naja....

Die Pools im Hotel sind eher etwas kleinere Pissbecken/ Pools sind 1.30m flach ... eher sehr klein gehalten, gerade gut für Kinder die etwas im Wasser planschen wollen... sieht natürlich auf den Bildern viel ansprechender aus. In echt, dann aber voll die Enttäuschung.

Wir hatten eine Ameisen-Kolinie im Bad, die fröhlich ihren Weg sich bahnte und sich auch nicht entfernen ließ.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν παλιό , τα ντουλάπια και οι κουβέρτες μύριζαν μούχλα , Πληρώσαμε δωμάτιο με ιδιωτική πισίνα και η πισίνα μοιραζόταν με άλλο δωμάτιο.
Η πραγματικότητα με τις φωτογραφίες δεν είχαν καμία σχέση.

Tolles Hotel, gutes Frühstück, schönes großes Zimmer, alles sehr sauber und die Mitarbeiter sehr nett. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Man kann zu Fuss an der Uferpromenade in die Stadt laufen und der hoteleigene Strand mit Service ist auch toll

Πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο,ανταξιο του ονοματός του.Ολα ηταν όπως επρεπε,το δωματιο,οι παροχές,το πρωινό ,η εξυπηρετηση.Μαλιστα ξεχασαμε τους φορτιστες των κινητων μας κατά την αναχώρηση και όταν ειδοποιήσαμε,τους κρατησαν για πανω απο 20 ημερες μεχρι να παμε να τους παρουμε.Αριστη διαμονη!

Το πρωινό δεν ειχε φυσικό χυμό,κατι που ειναι παραταιρο με το ονομα και τη φημη του ξενοδοχείου.Αναφερθηκε στον υπευθυνο και πιστευω ότι θα τακτοποιηθεί.

Bonne étape pour visiter la région mais un peu loin des attractions pour faire un programme à pied.
Pros:

Hôtel agréable. Bon petit déjeuner.

Cons:

Petite piscine et route à traverser pour aller à la plage. Diner buffet très décevant et cher. Loin du centre.

Gar nicht. Preis Leistung ist in keinem Verhältnis. Frühstück positiv. Freundliches Personal, gute Auswahl. Aber das Zimmer geht gar nicht und es hat hat gerochen als wäre ich in einem Zoo!

Herzliches Personal hat unseren Urlaub gerettet

Die Ankunft war erst etwas schwierig, weil es keine Parkmöglichkeit vor der Rezeption zum Einchecken gibt. Es war wohl ein Doppelzimmer gebucht, obwohl wir ein Appartement über Booking gebucht hatten. Die Rezeption hat sich dann alle Mühe gegeben, uns ein entsprechendes Zimmer zu geben. Wirklich sehr schöne Erfahrung. Das Appartement war gut ausgestattet und hatte alles was man braucht. Wir waren gekommen, um Naturfotos zu machen. Leider war das Wetter in den 10 Tagen unseres Aufenthalts von Regen und Sturm geprägt, so dass nur wenig davon möglich war. Das überaus freundliche und hilfreiche Personal hat uns aber das Gefühl gegeben nicht nur Kunden sondern Gäste unter Freunden zu sein und uns mit vielen hilfreichen Tipps, was Unternehmungen und Restaurants angeht versorgt. Das hat unseren Urlaub gerettet.

Pros:

I had an excellent time here at Grecotel Plaza Beach House, 10/10 experience. It is located in Rethymno about a 35 minute walk from Old Town and the beach is across the street so it offers a beautiful view from their restaurant. I have so many wonderful things to say but I will start with the bartender Michael. He is extremely skilled at making drinks that are both delicious and aesthetically pleasing. He has a clear passion for what he does. He always engaged in conversation and was happy to explain different drinks to me and I really enjoyed the rapport we had. Also Kalliopi the receptionist is extremely friendly and approachable. She was extremely helpful in coordinating transportation for us and I really enjoyed talking to her. Finally, Theodoris the maître d’ was very warm and hospitable. He always made a point to come talk to us and was very kind. I will also mention that my boyfriend was sick overnight and they offered to make him soup and checked in with him throughout the day which really meant a lot. The hotel itself is beautiful and well kept, the room was spacious and the housekeepers did a very good job keeping our room clean throughout the week. I’d say you get your money’s worth for sure and the people were what made this stay so special. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Wouldn’t recommend for families with kids .
Pros:

This was a let down . We were given the best room in the property supposedly but all the rain water came onto the bedroom floors and it was messy. puddle to walk on .
It gets embarrassing to call housekeeping every so often to clean up the puddles .
The upstairs bedroom has no view . Only the main bedroom has the beach view .
There was absolutley no entertainment at the hotel except outdoor table tennis
Which couldn’t be used due to the rains .
During low season It would have been nice to provide some activities and entertainment . Rooms didn’t have any booklet with info regarding activities or entertainment .
The wifi doesn’t work without a boaster which the front desk doesn’t give by default . You have to ask For it . If they knew the WiFi isn’t great then why not provide it while checking in ?
Would not recommend this esp for families with kids .
