One of the most beautiful hotels we ever stayed at. The staff is absolutely amazing - from the restaurant, the housekeeping to the beach!
Special shout out to Amr and Diaa from the beach /beach bar team for going above and beyond to look after us.

It is possible to do some snorkeling directly from the beach. The water is crystal clear.

The buffet doesn’t leave anything to be desired!

If you consider staying in Soma Bay dont bother looking at other hotels- this is by far the best option! True value for money!

You get free water in the rooms and on the beach.

This was our second stay and we will definitely be back!

Die wirklich tolle Lagunenanlage, der noch schönere Strand mit Riff.

Tolle, herzliche und persönliche Service!

Einzig die Preise für Getränke, Wein und Cocktails sind im Vergleich zu Steigenberger El Gouna 50-75% teuerer für Import und lokale Alkoholika.

Very nice property. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous, and as an added bonus, they even have several german speaking guest relations employees.
And the food is wonderful and very varied. The Breakfast and Dîner Buffets are extremely rich and savory.
The Pool and Beach areas are great, and the rooms are beautifully appointed.

Traumurlaub, der keine Wünsche offenlässt
Pros:

Die Hotel-Anlage ist wunderschön, wir hatten das Glück, ein Zimmer ganz oben mit traumhaftem Blick über die Anlage und aufs Meer zu haben. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Buffet zum Frühstück und Abendessen lässt keine Wünsche offen, ist riesengross, äusserst fein und vieles wird direkt frisch zubereitet. Das Hausriff beim grossen Steg, links ausserhalb der Anlage ist super zum Schnorcheln. Ein Elektro-"Zügli" bringt einem bequem dorthin. Das Marina, wie ein Mini-Dorf am kleinen Hafen bietet kleine Läden und Restaurants. Bei Orca, direkt beim Steg gelegen, kann man auch wunderschöne halb- oder ganztages- Tauch- und Schnorchelausflüge buchen. Rundum ein Ort, bei dem man die Ferien in vollen Zügen geniessen kann.

Amazing holiday in a wonderful hotel! Loved the beach!
Just the kids club and amenities for children to play could be a lot better, this was a bit disappointing.
But everything else amazing. We come back next year!
Please give the kids a lot more toys especially near the restaurant (that room is empty!!) and put the kids disco half an hour later or the dinner half an hour earlier (early access for families?) as 7 pm is super late. :)

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage, sehr nettes Personal und sehr leckeres Essen. Gym hat Neue TechnoGym Geräte! Schöner Spa-Bereich. Der Strand ist sehr gepflegt, die Strandliegen bequem und sauber . Gerne wieder!

Truly a pearl of the red sea

The Kempinski in soma bay is a beautiful hotel located in a quiet bay with a clean massive sandy beach, azure waters and mountains in the horizon. The service is truly 5 star - everyone was like how do I make the stay special especially staff at the beach and manager at sultan bar (tharos). Loved the stay and will highly recommend.
