"RESORT EVENING WEAR: At some resorts, you will need to be casually dressed during the evening, when going to dinner. Cons:

Ich muss mir das wirklich von der Seele schreiben.

Ich habe in den letzten Monaten extrem viel Arbeitsstress gehabt und habe mich deshalb bewusst für das Kempinski Soma Bay entschieden, weil ich letztes Jahr bereits mit meiner Mutter dort war und damals eine gute Erfahrung gemacht habe. Genau deshalb bin ich wiedergekommen. Das Hotel wirbt mit Entspannung, Ruhe und Erholung am Meer – genau das habe ich gesucht.

Dieses Jahr bin ich alleine gereist.

Und genau das war der größte Fehler.

Sobald ich mein Zimmer oder die Lobby verlassen habe, hatte ich das Gefühl, als alleinreisende Frau den Menschen regelrecht zum Fraß ausgeliefert zu sein. Ich habe mehrfach beim Guest Relations Team angesprochen, dass ich bitte einfach meine Ruhe haben möchte und nicht ständig angesprochen werden will. Trotzdem hat sich nichts geändert.

Ich wollte einfach nur entspannen. Ich wollte am Meer sitzen, Energie sammeln und mich von meinem Alltagsstress erholen.

Stattdessen war es für mich die Hölle.

Beim Frühstück konnte ich nicht einmal in Ruhe essen. Ständig kamen Mitarbeiter mit einem aggressiven “Hello, hello”, sodass ich mich teilweise richtig erschrocken habe und fast an meinem Essen erstickt wäre. Dazu kamen persönliche und intime Fragen, obwohl ich ganz klar signalisiert habe, dass ich nicht sprechen möchte. Selbst wenn ich telefoniert habe oder einfach nur mein Frühstück genießen wollte, wurde das nicht respektiert.

Auf dem Weg zum Strand wurde ich ebenfalls nicht in Ruhe gelassen. Am Strand ging es genauso weiter. Kaum hatte ich mich entspannt, kamen wieder Kellner oder andere Mitarbeiter und unterbrachen mich. Teilweise kamen dann noch völlig unnötige Kommentare wie: “Ah, she’s relaxing.” Für mich fühlte sich das an, als könnte man es nicht akzeptieren, dass eine Frau einfach in Ruhe entspannen möchte.

Dasselbe im Fitnessstudio. Ich wollte einfach nur 30 Minuten trainieren.
