If you’re looking for a quiet, authentic Santorini stay that still feels special, En Plo Boutique Suites is a lovely choice. It’s tucked away just outside Oia, which means you get all the beauty of the island without the chaos of the crowds. The vibe is super relaxed—whitewashed walls, cobalt details, and a little pool area that feels like your own private slice of calm.

The rooms are spotless and comfortable, with those charming Cycladic touches—arched doorways, cozy patios, and soft blue accents. It’s not flashy luxury, but it’s the kind of place where you immediately exhale and feel at home. Breakfast is a highlight—fresh fruit, local pastries, and eggs made to order, usually served by the sweetest staff who genuinely seem to care that you’re enjoying yourself.

Location perfect for hiking ,quiet and near to Oai .10 kms from airport .
Outside the family run small hotel is a bus stop which can be used but not in peak of season very busy
Suggest hire a car the main roads are easy to drive on and limit if 50 khms per hour so reasonably safe .
At the hotel there is free private parking
The hotel has a fair sized swimming pool and the premises are spotless cleaned every day .
We stayed in a family room 35 sqms and perfect for us .
Breakfast was served in very pleasant surroundings with a great view to the sea .
Everyday Breakfast was different pastries greek yogurt ,homemade jam ,honey ,bread rolls and eggs scrambled ,fried ,boiled !

We spent a week at En PLO suites in late September 2025. The latest reviews feel right to us. Really nice aparthotel.

The property is separated from the beach by the coastal road.

Owners are very attentive and always positive. Very clean and comfortable. Good value for both drinks and food. Owner, Sergios, explained the local bus service, which turned out to be cheap and reliable and arranged taxis when needed but taxis are unusually expensive on Santorini. The best option is to hire a car, again Sergios organised this for us at a surprisingly reasonable cost.

In short, if you don’t fancy paying the exorbitant prices in Oia or Fira, En PLO is a really good option.

This was our first trip to Santorini and overall we enjoyed our time at EnPlo. The place is clean, staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious and nice. Really, no complaints about the resort itself.

My biggest complaint about this place was the location. It is located about 2.3 miles from Oia, but a taxi won't come get you or bring you back to the place. Uber will cost about $40-$50 euro each way. I couldn't get a taxi to come pick us up from EnPlo and take us anywhere. EnPlo has a taxi service you can use, but it is $20 euro per couple, per direction. Luckily, EnPlo is located on the main road where the public busses run and they will pick you up and drop you off if you tell the bus driver. That was a huge plus. Bus was $2 euro per person, per trip. Feel free to reach out to me if you want more info about the Bus System! We ended up renting a car for the last day and this was a good option too.

Just know, if you stay at EnPlo, you will need to A) be very familiar with the bus system, B) rent a car or ATV (drivers are a bit crazy on Santorini!), or C) be willing to pay the whatever for Uber/Taxi/Drivers.

Staff was very friendly

I cannot say enough about how great our experience was. Sergio took care of us from the moment we arrived until the day we left. The location is convenient. The sunsets amazing. Our room was top notch. This is a small boutique hotel. Romantic. Sergio made our honeymoon an experience to remember.

I rarely leave a review, so says it all that I’m writing this one. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The rooms and areas by the pool and restaurant are clean and well maintained. Nothing was too much of a request for Sergio.
One morning we slept in and missed breakfast, and didn’t expect anything to be provided but Sergio made us both a breakfast smoothie and brought it out to the pool for us.
He’s always happy to recommend where to eat, where to see sunset, and always offered help with booking day trips etc.
The location is close to the popular town of Oia, and is on the main road to the rest of the island. We rented a car which I recommend, parking isn’t as bad as some say. Plenty of free car parks but stick to those as we saw police giving out parking tickets for cars on streets and roads.
Ultimately, I love time by the pool and my partner loves sightseeing, and this hotel was perfect for a mixture of both.
Will definitely return!

Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Nothing is too much for Sergio. Food is lovely, room was spotless and a great size for the price.

You must stay here! Sergio and his mum are the best hosts. Their food and cocktails second to none, and priced fairly bearing in mind the rest of the island. He was on hand for everything you needed, the breakfast was amazing and just kept coming, and we ate one night with them-brilliant homemade tzatziki! This hotel gives you an oasis in all the madness of Santorini in summer, the pool is clean and plenty of space, and the perfect temperature. Buses stop right outside so easy to get around, could see the benefit of a car too, although we didn’t have one. Book it, stay here, meet Sergio, I promise you won’t regret it.

We have just stayed here for a long weekend, 3 nights. This place is stunning, the views, the facilities, the room. It is just 7 mins drive to Oia and is located in a beautiful and quiet spot which we loved.

Sergio and his family were fantastic, so accommodating, helpful. Sergio organised our taxis and car hire and told us about areas to visit and places to go. He recommended restaurants also. He is an incredible host, nothing to much trouble. The maintenance guy worked tirelessly cleaning the pool areas and tidying up the plants in beaming heat.

The food was incredible, Sergio's Mum is a fantastic chef. Breakfast was super generous and different every day. Everything she cooked for us was outstanding so would recommend eating in for lunch/dinner or at least a few times whilst you're there.

The whole place was clean, well maintained and just stunning. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much to Sergio and the team.

This place is super nice! We stayed in june 2025 and loved it. The food is super good and you get a variety of food for breakfast. The staff is very helpful and nice. Cannot recommend enough!!

5 star stay at En Plo, food, staff, accommodation was all amazing. Sergio was always willing to organise or help with anything you needed, their family run business is just a credit to their love of hospitality. Food is fresh, pool area is large over looking the beach.

Sergio and family gave us the best and most memorable experience in Santorini. We are already planning our return trip with the rest of our family.

Lovely hotel with a great breakfast included. About a. 45 minute walk from the main Oia strip but other than that a really nice property.

We stayed here in May 2025, we highly recommend this place. It’s set away from the hustle and bustle of Oia centre but a short drive away or nice long walk to explore everything. Sergio and his Mum made us feel extremely welcome from the minute we arrived. The best personal service we have ever experienced. A beautiful family run hotel where nothing is too much trouble, we’ll miss this place!

Yhe rooms are lovely, clean and fresh. Spacious and great outdoor patio area. The out door area around the pool was very nice. Beautiful breakfasts especially the baking by Sergios mother.
We were disappointed with the area out on the roadsides with a lot of rubbish including toilet paper and cigarette butts. Would be lovely if this could be cleaned up.

We had a wonderful stay at En Plo Boutique Hotel in Santorini. The entire place was beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. The food was a highlight—especially the prawns and Red mullet, which were simply delicious. Sergio and his team were warm and welcoming, and Sergio himself was incredibly friendly and charming. He even taught us a few words in Greek, adding a personal touch to our experience. The hotel’s peaceful atmosphere and exceptional service made our visit truly memorable. We highly recommend staying here!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about this special hotel! Sergios and his family made our stay comfortable, memorable and made us feel like family. As a family of 4 we were pleasantly surprised to have 2 separate rooms, with 3 beds in total with a TV in each room, and a nice sized washroom. This cozy hotel has 8 beautiful suite-like rooms and is located right across from both a bus stop and the ocean/small beach. The included breakfast at this hotel is no joke! Fresh made daily and never ending - come ready to eat a variety of Greek breakfast staples that changes slightly every day! The pool, hotel and all amenities are kept immaculately clean and everyone is kind and helpful. The room came with 4 cloth bathrobes and 4 pairs of slippers to wear around the resort! Sergio helped us book a rental car and a catamaran cruise which made everything super convenient. The hotel restaurant served amazing food, fresh and prepared by Sergio’s mom every day! We felt very prioritized and cared for at this hotel and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet stay in Santorini. Accessing the busier parts of the city is easy with a rental car or the bus system. It’s an amazing oasis to relax in after touring Oia or Fira. We will be back!

We stayed in En Plo suites in June and received very warm and welcoming hospitality from Sergio and his mother. Our room was clean and hotel had lovely view of sea. We even saw beautiful sunrise from our hotel. We had amazing home made breakfast made by lovely lady, Sergio’s mother. Sergio was very helpful nd have lots of information to do in Santorini which was very helpful for us to make plan. We just want to sure thank you for having us and see you soon again.

We have just had the most wonderful stay at En Plo with Sergio and his family. Sergio made us feel very welcome from the first meeting, and this continued throughout the week we were there. The hotel is spotlessly clean, with staff seen constantly around the rooms and communal areas making sure everything is just right. The hotel consists of 8 suites, ours being very spacious with an area that has a fridge. Breakfast consists of a multitude of items that include tea/coffee/orange juice, Greek Yoghurt, spinach pastries, cakes, and eggs as you like them. Far too much for us to eat on some mornings. Lunch and evening meals are cooked to order, by mum, which again are plentiful and superbly cooked! The hotel is situated in a remote area that overlooks the sea, there aren’t any shops or restaurants nearby, but Oia is just 5-7 minutes around the bay. We took taxi’s, ordered by Sergio, (€20 each way) but there is a bus stop just outside the hotel which goes into Thira or Oia for €2, I am told. We couldn’t fault this hotel, we felt so welcome by Sergio and the families personal service (he even put a bottle of wine (at our request) in our room whilst we were on a trip) we will definitely be returning.
