Central comfort ✨️ // Hyggelig sentrert
Pros:

This was an incredibly accommodating, friendly stay. The location was easy to find and within 5 minutes of everywhere - museums, restaurants, seaside, ruins, El Greco, parks, boardgame café, shopping streets (yes, plural)... The bus to and from the airport stopped at the same very visible location in both directions and was maybe 10 minutes away.
The room was a corner room with a large balcony. I had plenty of privacy and space.
The breakfast buffet was wide and varied and the breakfast hall was very well designed - good accoustic-cancelling ceiling, good light, decently spaced tables. Love to see a dessert buffet - makes it easier to dodge snacks the rest of the day.
The hotel had very spacious check-in hours. This was very convenient for me after I was rebooked onto a much later than planned flight. They also have a luggage room as an extended - not extra - service, which allowed me the freedom to visit one more museum before leaving, and the staff were very approachable. They were also very quick to respond to questions ahead of my stay - do message your questions and requests. Good response time.

Cons:

The mattress was very hard for me. Not worn - designed that way.
The air conditioning was centrally controlled, very loud, and only stopped when I cut off power by removing my key card - not a long-term solution in any way.
Everything seemed very clean when I arrived, but housekeeping re-folded my used towels instead of removing, replacing, or leaving them as they were. Not the end of the world with only 2 nights there, but I did feel uncomfortable at the idea of a prolonged stay. I did accept housekeeping in order to keep the floors clean and the floors did stay clean.
Breakfast only opens at 7:30 - a slightly tight schedule for activities beginning at 8:00. Possible, but... not my preference.

Das Hotel hatte für uns einen Shuttle vom Flughafen organisiert, da wir sehr spät abends gelandet sind.
