Amazing staff and everything! Best hotel, bar and service !! Luis is the best as well
The Mondrian had all the appearances of a great place to stay for a weekend in the sun, but the devil is in the details. Checking in on a Fri, my room wasn't serviced until late afternoon on Sun. There was no body wash in the shower, though a space for one, so I used a bar soap. Then when I did get the servicing late Sun, a bottle with a very small amount was left in my bathroom but not mounted nor able to be mounted in my shower. There were smokers around the pool, and the smoking rules were not enforced. Yet any attempt to bring simply a water bottle to the pool was thwarted. The prices for the cabanas were very high, and thus many were unused. I would love to have used one but wasn't going to spend 400-500/day. The food at the restaurant was pretty decent but overpriced. Staff was generally pleasand and helpful, though name tags were not worn consistently, hence I can't really give them any shoutouts. One bright spot was the fact they provided free sunscreen at the bar, a lovely scented one at that.
Location
This hotel is so outdated and not worth the money they charge. Our room was very dirty when we walked in we had to call front desk to get the floors swept and cleaned ☹️ carpet was nasty, they clean every 3 days and on our cleaning day the room was not vacuumed, not mopped, shower wasn’t cleaned they barely made the bed😡 went to the front desk and they sent cleaners and their supervisor who saw that they didn’t vacuum, he told one of the ladies to come vacuum and she stated they didn’t have a vacuum 😮. While I was downstairs waiting for their manager another guy came with the same complaint and they didn’t even give him clean towels and all he asked for was for them to change his sheets and give him clean towels. We were there to celebrate our friend’s birthday and all of our rooms were not clean. Never again will I stay in that hotel.
Please, Please save your money and go somewhere else!
Luis was a lovely hotel worker very helpful and kind couldn’t do more for you
Rahaul the Engineer was very polite and fixed out tv within minutes
It is very bad experience than the last time this time by your manager is Claudia. She was very rude and manipulate on the rate and give us small size room in higher price and she told us to book online, but when I book online the same time she told us the room is not available anymore. It’s disaster and she took every day 200 and tax extra for upgrade fees which would not want, but we was so tired because we came from India after 40 hours, so we don’t have Choice and we paid extra almost thousand dollars.
It is the worst experience till now, and we will never come back to this hotel because of your staff
Don’t bother coming to this hotel. We will pay a $45 resort fee. Then like the Secret Service, when you wanna go to the pool, they check your bag. Even if you have an iced coffee, they will not allow you to take your iced coffee to your beach bed at the pool despite paying a $45 resort fee. Ridiculous!
Louis is outstanding, informative , best of the best! We travel lots and have never met someone who went above and beyond. Did we mention he is also very handsome 😊
This is the best hotel and bar experience I’ve ever had. Jason was the most delightful bartender we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back!
This 1 star is entirely for how absolutely disgusting the rooms in this hotel are. For how much you are spending, you would expect the rooms to be in at least a semi clean condition, but I’ve legitimately stayed in motels with cleaner rooms. My room smelled like marijuana the entire time. There were stains on most surfaces, the shower was missing tiles and loudly leaked during my entire stay. There were hairs sticking to random surfaces in the bathroom. I even found a toenail in the corner of the room. I was traveling for work and all of my coworkers who were in other rooms all agreed their rooms were equally as gross. All 3 of us separately had showers with empty body wash and shampoo bottles which were not replenished during our entire 4 day stay. One of them found broken glass in her shower. To top it all off, they charge an exorbitant $300 resort fee! And don’t even try to bring your own water bottle to the pool. They’ll tell you it’s not allowed, but you’re welcome to BUY water from the pool menu. This hotel and the staff should honestly be embarrassed to keep the rooms in this state, and I checked out early just to get away from the nastiness. Could not recommend this place less, and I’m honestly shocked it has this many good reviews.
Sandra at security was so nice and made us feel right at home
Louis was great and amazing he was so helpful taking all our luggage and making sure we were settled and taken care of
