Mandarin Oriental Boston is our home away from home-- the best place in Boston. For an exclusive hotel the rates are reasonable. The staff , from manager, to front desk, to concierge , to house keeping are all superb. In room dining is always elegant and delicious and the service is outstanding. The location, parking , the gym are all the best in the City. I'm a frequent visitor and wouldn't go anywhere else. Five stars out of five!

Our experience at MO-Boston was absolutely incredible. Baris was so welcoming and helped us with our bags because we arrived super early before our check-in. Mr. Paul, I believe, made sure we had maps and a general knowledge of where to go and what to see because we didn’t have working phones to use. We felt at home with all the kindness and welcoming from everyone. Thank you for making our honeymoon and my husbands first time in America and Boston so memorable

We were in Boston to celebrate my husband's 55th birthday and had a very enjoyable experience at the Hotel and Spa. The Spa experience was top notch - including a couples massage that was the best massage that we feel we have ever had. The amenities and attention to guest service was incredible.

Friends and I decided to stay in the Mandarin Oriental in Boston and enjoy the city over a weekend. We were greeted very warmly, and everything we asked for was met with a smile and an eagerness to help. Lunch at Ramsey's Kitchen was a great experience, from the food to the ambiance! Spending time in the hotel, from the spa (do not miss this if you go!), to the lobby (enjoying 5:30 am coffee by the fireplace), we could feel that everything was incredibly thought out and made to make the customer feel special and welcomed. The experience was great, and mostly the staff is what made the experience stand out- from the woman who turned down our bed, the front desk and concierge throughout the day, and the kindness we received while checking out. Madai was especially kind and helpful, and the manager Kevin clearly set the bar for customer service. His patience, courtesy and friendliness was so appreciated! We not only will be coming back, but we will be recommending the hotel to others. The Mandarin Oriental does it right.

I had a lovely stay from start to finish. The front desk staff were especially wonderful—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful—which made everything feel effortless. Their service truly set the tone, and this is easily the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Boston.

Great luxury hotel in Back Bay, super clean, classy, and very professional. The rooms feel high-end, and the service is on point, calm, and discreet. The spa is a big highlight.

My husband and I stayed here during NYE 2026. It was a great location, and the service seemed prompt and kind. There were a couple of things that didn’t seem quite luxury – namely, I felt our room could be cleaner. Sadly, a woman also jumped from her window the evening we were staying there. We never opened our window because it was cold, but it seems concerning that someone was able to slide out, so I’d reconsider if you plan on bringing children.

Great experience overall—clean room, good service, and great location. Highly recommend I will be back once am in town.

we chose to soft lunch, our wine brand and bring in out-of-town guests from all over the country to this gorgeous hotel where they would experience world class service and a beautiful environment which provided a level of luxury and service that went far beyond our expectation, but wildly lived up to the brand reputation. If you are looking to host a private event, this team is best in the business and the venue is absolutely gorgeous. Everything from the lead up to the event the planning and execution was 100% spot on the private events manager, Danielle Duane is Best in class.

The Mandarin Oriental Boston sits in the heart of the Back Bay and is a perfect location for a trip to Boston. You can walk almost everywhere you would want to go or take a quick cab if it's a bit far.

The hotel rooms are generous in size, well appointed, and housekeeping is attentive. The sheets are crisp and fresh. The bed was comfortable with great pillows.

The linens in the bathroom are soft and clean. The have a large shower with great water pressure and a large soaking tub. The amenities are high quality and the robes are soft.

The hotel restaurant has a nice selection. Rooms service is prompt. The spa is outstanding. There is also a modest gym that has new equipment and everything you'd need to keep up with your workout.

We had the pleasure of hosting our daughter’s wedding at this property, and the service exceeded all expectations. The event coordinators demonstrated professionalism, efficiency, and remarkable attention to detail throughout the entire planning process and the wedding weekend. Our guests felt welcomed, the food was delicious, and the entire weekend felt effortless thanks to the incredible team. Our family and guests were thoroughly impressed and are still talking abut how wonderful the food and service was for the whole weekend. We highly recommend this hotel for weddings and large events.

From the moment we arrived, the valet and front desk staff were seamless and efficient, welcoming us warmly. We received an upgrade to a beautiful suite, which was wonderful. Although our stay lasted only one night, we needed to have a quick visit to the spa. My wife enjoyed her time there but unfortunately, the men's whirlpool tub was not in service. I did use the steam and relaxation room which was great. The room was immaculate, spacious and quiet. The location, for us, was prime. Easy to walk around and enjoy the city and easy for us to depart and drive back to NYC.
