Pros:

Beachfront.

Cons:

Elevators inoperable. My 79 year old mother and I had to walk up to the 9th floor twice and down 3 times. This was unacceptable. We should have been placed in a room on the lower levels.

Disappointing beach stay
Pros:

Not impressed by this basic beach side hotel. Informed we would need to pay extra if we wanted to check in early even if the room was ready. Multiple light fixtures in the room did not work, uncovered electrical outlet, broken chair and table, floor so dirty and sticky it stained our feet and socks, and only one working elevator for 9 floors (we were informed the other elevator has been out of service for at least the last 6 weeks). It felt like a frat party had crashed the night before we arrived and no one cleaned up after.

My husband and I stayed here in 2024 and 2025 and had a good experience. Will probably never visit again.
Pros:

Gave us the wrong room number
After we took everything to the 6th floor were asked to bring everything back to the lobby
She then checked the room number and realized that she gave us the wrong number
We were finally able to go to our room and unpack
Around midnight our toilet was overflowing
Had to repack and moved to another room
Shower was terrible! Floor was soaked and everything in the room was wet
Water condensed on the ceiling and dripped all over us
Had to open the sliding glass door to release the steam in the room
Floor lamp had no electrical outlet so couldn’t use
Ordered food from Pinky’s and waited over an hour and was told a ten minute wait
This was my granddaughter’s spring break and she wanted to go home
Spoke to the manager and was told that she would have the maintenance team look at it. Wow
Very disappointing trip
Would not recommend

Best weekend ever!!!!
Pros:

OMG from the moment I walked in to the lobby to check in and from the time I checked out.. exceptional and impeccable service from beginning to end all I have to say is if you are thinking about booking do it you won't regret the choice!

Cons:

Didn't see a hot tub. But I had a ball in the heated pool...

I would not stay there again
Pros:

Staff was great. One elevator was out of service the entire stay and there wer long waits. The balcony is Juliet. You can not sit out on it. You have to bring your own beach chairs or rent them. Thought they would be available at an oceanfront location. The towels at the pool were poor quality.

Great getaway
Pros:

Great staff at an updated hotel. On the beach and walking distance to all the restaurants. We regularly stay a couple of times a year.

It was the worse accommodations I’ve ever had in Folly. Hotel was cheap and cheesy with no customer
Cons:

Elevator was broke, there was renovations and they could have accommodated better. We sat in the restaurant and were ignored by the bartender and manager and finally left. They couldn’t even say, we’re closing. Just ignored our presence.

Pros:

No breakfast. Jay at the front door greeting everyone was the best part of this Hotel

Cons:

Room was not clean, had to wait on room, only 1 elevator working, had to use stairs several times, had to ask for microwave after requesting it twice before arrival, only decaf coffee was available in the room, really disappointing. I've stayed there since 2016, this year was my worse stay by far.
