A very bad experience!
Pros:

I turned up to check in about 1330 and was told I couldn't till 1530, without giving me the option to pay for my reservation. I turned up to check in later on, only for you to tell me there was no room for me, even though the room was there when I initially turned up earlier in the day!
Your staff need to do more training and give the customers a good service!

Arrived and they had cancelled my reservation for some reason so I had nowhere to stay!!
Cons:

V bad systems/communication etc!! I arrived and my reservation had somehow been cancelled and not by me!! So it was Saturday night, they were fully booked and I had nowhere to go and they didn’t offer me any solution, I definitely won’t be returning!

Secret refuge where you can have total peace but be near transport links, shops and takeaways.
Pros:

Beautiful room and the swimming pool was just amazing, lovely and warm with good disabled access. Everywhere clean, it felt more like a 5 star hotel. Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Cons:

Maybe pillows could be a bit firmer. Breakfast was not the cheapest but you get so much for your money including croissants, a fry up, cheese, yoghurt, lovely veg and fresh fruit so you wouldn’t need any lunch!

Cons:

Service in the restaurant for Saturday night dinner after order taken took 35 minutes to arrive (mains only) & had to ask staff if our order was on it's way. Also waiting staff were not clearing tables efficiently returning to kitchen empty handed !

Breakfast, they're was a delay on popular popular Breakfast items needed to be replenished. Which led to a long queue & congested area.

Would recommend and would have no issues staying another time
Pros:

Staff were friendly, there were lots of options for breakfast. Loved the themed evenings. They were fun.

Cons:

The room was very dark and I did have to do a lot of work in the room outside of the course I was attending so more light would have been appreciated. I only had biscuits left on the first day. It would have been nice to have received some each day when cleaning made up the room. The jacuzzi was out of use when I went to use the pool- I did only go once however during my stay. The steam room was over crowded so couldn't use the other facilities.

General ambiance better than expected. Breakfast excellent especially fresh bread.
Bed comfortable. Nice pool.
Very convenient for local attractions.
