1. After booking.com notification of reservation which stated reservation is confirmed and I can pay at the hotel, I got an email from the hotel that says: if you want to make sure your room is fully reserved, pay in advance. Its quite shady, considering the reservation was already confirmed! I had 2 message exchange with the hotel in booking.com, when finally they admited that my room is booked and I can pay at the hotel.
2. They had not enough sun beds at the pool, and basically zero staff. No pool reception, and when we finally found one staff, he said they don't have more sun bed for the outside, which was a shame, as the weather was 100% sunny, 25 degrees and all beds were occupied.
Große Pools, sehr angenehme Liegen, gutes Essen, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter im Service - insgesamt sehr angenehme und ruhige Atmosphäre.
Für eine Nacht eigentlich nicht gut geeignet aus meiner Perspektive. Early Check-In oder Late Check Out, mit Abstellen des Gepäcks, um die Hoteltherme früher nutzen zu können, ist nicht möglich. Nur in Kombination mit Zimmerbezug möglich, das kann man frühestens einen Tag vor der Ankunft erfragen. Würde man aber nicht einen Early Check-In dazu buchen (25€p.P.) hat man eigentlich keine Möglichkeit den Lunch, der in der HP inkludiert ist, zu konsumieren, wenn man nur eine Nacht bleibt. Die Zeiten sind so gelegt, dass man ab dem Check-In genau eine Stunde hat, um das Angebot zu nutzen. Das heißt, man könnte um bestenfalls 15:30 Mittagessen, dafür hätte man dann 30 Minuten Zeit - Abendessen kann man dann bis 20:45. Mir persönlich ist ein Lunch um 15:30 zu spät, ehrlich gesagt. Habe auch von anderen Gästen gehört, die sich darüber geärgert haben. Die Anlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen (aufgequollene WC-Türen im Wellnessbereich, abgetretener Rasen im Garten )aber trotzdem gepflegt. Einzig im Zimmer war der Holzboden nicht gewischt worden, es waren die Fußabdrücke der Vorgänger sichtbar. Das Essen war sehr gut, für mich waren die Portionen ausreichend. Besonders toll fand ich das Frühstücksbuffett, das wirklich keine Wünsche offen lässt. (Kleinigkeiten vom Konzept zu verbessern, wäre aber möglich: alle süßen Sachen nebeneinander anzubieten und nicht an vier verschiedene Stellen, Hafermilch nicht als „Aufpreis“ bezeichnet- psychologische Wirkung ist unnötig negativ dadurch.) was für mich auch nicht nachvollziehbar war ist, dass in einem Halbpension-Hotel extra angeführt wird, welchen Wert das Mittagessen bzw. Abendessen hat. Vielleicht ist das eine neue gesetzliche Regelung, ich habe es bisher nie erlebt.
