Small family style hotel with very good beach restaurant, live music some nights. Great location and very friendly staff. I love these kind of hotels

I liked the staff, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all the facilities we needed, maybe just needs a little TLC. Plenty of music each night. The surroundings were great and gardens well looked after.

Lovely friendly staff, the room had a lovely deck that was sheltered and right on the beach, cooking facilities were handy, good pressure on the shower. The bed wasn’t that comfortable and the pillows weren’t that good and smelt musty. Overall we had a lovely stay at this property, it’s not over crowed and very relaxed.

The restaurant I can’t fault. It had a lovely atmosphere and nice food.

The rooms though had the most uncomfortable beds. The double bed was an old intersprung that was hard and you felt the springs. So was one of the single beds. Luckily the other single bed was comfortable so I use that so I could get some sleep. The room needed a good dust around the lamps and table. Half the lights didn’t work -inside and out. The ceiling fans only worked on one speed. They must have a problem with ants as they give you a container to store your food. Good idea if it didn’t have a hole in it. We just used the microwave.

Everyone is lovely and accommodating. Our flight arrived well before check in time and they made sure our room was cleaned first so we could rest. The linked bar shipwreck has the best service and cocktails we found.

I cant say enough good things about our stay here, great accommodation, great staff, clean rooms, on the beach,where the snorkeling is awesome, pool for the guests,friendly bar,I could go on so,thanks to Loretta and the team for a top stay.

Wonderful resort right on the beach. They provide snorkels and kayaks and the restaurant is great. I will definitely stay here again.

The property is showing is age and it looks old and tired.
The location of a bar adjacent to rooms means the chances of an early sleep are limited. The venue although somehow has previously been rated as 4 stars is closer to 2/3. For the price there are far better options available within the immediate area so I would encourage others to explore there options before booking here.

We enjoyed the convenience of the restaurant and bar on site, the pool was Devine and the staff absolutely amazing. We will be back👍

Everyone was so kind, and friendly

One of the best spots on the beach. Views are beautiful. Loved watching the whales while having breakfast. Rooms are comfortable clean and spacious. Facilities great for relaxing, kayaking, paddle boarding watching the whales and safe swimming/ snorkeling. Entertainment with great varied live music each evening. Handy for the bus. Staff were friendly, helpful and interested in your day.

The manager and staff at Aro’a were absolutely wonderful. Lisa, the manager went well above and beyond what we expected in terms of service and helpfulness. The room was great, with amazing views. The place was very clean and tidy, both in our room and in the remainder of the resort. The food at The Shipwreck hut was brilliant and we loved seeing the whales playing in the ocean.

We loved this property. Right on a beautiful beach. The pool was brand new and a great bonus to our stay. Shipwreck bar had a great atmosphere and most nights live music. Staff were helpful and friendly. If you are after a relaxed holiday this is the place.

Great location next to beautiful unspoilt beach. Shipwreck bar had great atmosphere and served excellent meals and local brews. Felt well cared for by Lisa and Ralph. Rooms were basic but comfortable and had everything we needed and a full kitchen too.
