Atlantis Hotel

The best location in Santorini, what a view. The staff were very helpful and always available. The hotel is a bit of an oasis at the busiest parts of the day so you can retreat from the heat and tourists and relax. The location is perfect for using the bus system on the island which is great.
The hotel is right in the area of shops and some attractions.

I have VIP access means they can upgrade my room!!!!!! Disappointed
Instead of upgrading they gave us smaller room

All Staffs are very friendly. Breakfast is tasteful and you can view the stunning Caldera & Volcano while having it.

It's located at the edge of Fira city centre and only 5 mins walk to multiple cocktail bars, 4 mins walk to Fira bus station and 10 mins walk to cable car station.

Room service and cleaning is superb and I would like to give a kudo to the cleaning lady. Our room is a little bit outdated and needs to be modernized though.

Perfect location. Sunset and sunrise views. Staff is wonderful.

Pros:
1)The hotel’s location is great!
2)On property hotel staff, the view and breakfast were FANTASTIC.
3)Our room had an adorable private feeling balcony with an amazing view.
4)The pool is private and peacefully located with a great view too (from outside of the pool)
5)Good AC in the rooms
6)The main floor lobby is beautiful

Cons:
1) One side of the bed was against the wall so that could be problematic for some.
2) At the end of the trip we had electrical problems pop up in our room with lights not able to turn on.
3) Room was very small and dated furniture
4) Robe was also dated and tattered.
5) The pool was very chilly.

Now! All that said, DO NOT book the hotel’s airport transfer. What should have been a 15 minute transfer ended up with us lugging our luggage up some stairs at the airport. The person who had the sign with our name wasn’t the driver and they also didn’t speak English. Then we were asked to drag our bags up the road up a hill for 5 minutes in the dark dodging cars flying by us. It was scary. Eventually, while standing in a gas station parking lot (?!), we were told the driver’s car had a problem. Then the van arrived, loaded us up in an hurry and then stopped to drop other people off at another hotel. We finally arrived an hour later. After 23 hours of travel, I had booked this to make it easy. It would have been simpler to get a taxi. You’ve been warned.

Perfect place to stay in Santorini

The staff went out of their way to take care of us. For example, a staff member ran down a few blocks where we were waiting for a tour pick up to tell us there was a delay. Also, a housekeeper ran down to hand me an item I had forgotten when I checked out and I was still in the lobby. They made taxi reservations for me, and recommended a really stand out restaurant close by. I felt well taken care of. Plus, everyone was very warm and ready to help any way I needed.

Excellent Our stay was good, the service was good and the people who work there were very friendly. The hotel's location was strategic and easy to access.

They were wonderful! The hotel is an icon of Fira with wonderful staff who were always kind and willing to help regardless of the request. I highly recomend!

Excellent location and customer service. In the heart of the city with great views. Breakfast was great with lot of varieties. All staff were amazing with smiling face and prompt service.

If staying in Fira, this is the best hotel to stay in terms of location and view! It is in the center of Fira and just a 4 minute walk from the main bus station which was very convenient for us!
We got a caldera room and everyday of our stay, we would sit on our balcony and watch the beautiful views throughout the day and night. This would be a perfect spot to watch the sunset (unfortunately the weather was cloudy and gloomy so we did get to see one) but I believe it is very comparable if not better then the views from Oia especially if trying to avoid the crowds. Even if you do not get a caldera view room, the outside seating area of the hotel also has an amazing view of the caldera.
The hotel rooms are very well maintained considering this was the first hotel built in Thira (per our tour guide). We also thoroughly enjoyed the extensive variety of breakfast and pleased with how many vegetarian options we had. All the food was so fresh and delicious which made for a great start to the day!
I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Amazing view!! Maybe the best view on the entire island? Do ask for a balcony room... then you can just sit and enjoy the sunset from the comfort of your room. If you take an Uber or taxi to the hotel,
they will stop a little ways away, and you will have to climb the incline to the hotel. This is about a 3 or 4 minute climb, keep this in mind for your mobility/fitness. I have some mobility issues but was able to manage just fine by taking it slow. The morning buffet breakfast had huge number of options; only gripe is that the food should be kept hot. Having cold scrambled eggs is not the best way to start the day. But hey, when you sit eating on the terrace overlooking the amazing bay, these nits fade away. Room was great and comfortable...bathroom was a bit dated but perfectly fine for a 2 day stay. Front desk people were very friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Dmitry (hope i got the name right) -- always smiling and so helpful. Thank you for making our stay at Santorini so memorable!! For folks looking to do the hike to Oia, it starts right from this hotel!! We just strolled for about half hour down the bay side path and returned... even that was beautiful and extremely photogenic. The restaurant to the left of our room was noisy late into the night, but we shut the windows tight and that helped a lot. Overall, this hotel is a 2 thumbs up!!

The only thing I did not like was the bathroom. It is extremely small.
