If it wasn't for the staff...
Pros:

...I would've changed hotels. Right off the bat when I arrived, I was hit with a DOWNGRADE in rooms. My room was being renovated. Now, I was told that because I booked via QANTAS (who use Expedia), the hotel contacted Expedia who in turn would inform me. Now I was also informed that Expedia didn't answer the hotel. I only have the staff's word, so I must accept this to be true. What really disappointed me, was that there was no compensation for my downgrade. I was offered USD$30 per night, because that was the lesser cost of the room. Yet where was my compensation for not being in my original position? Staff were excellent and they did try to help as much as they could. Now for the room. No wonder they're having renovations. Who on earth gave this hotel 5 stars???! Not in their wildest dreams is this 5 stars. Where is the amenity kit? Shower leaked. An old fashioned plastic shower floor. It was something your dad would've done as a home DIY job! Even the phone was an old phone and it didn't have dedicated buttons for the reception etc. Butter in plastic pots. And all left out at night. Presumably because they couldn't be bothered to bring it in and take out again the next morning. Not for me and there is no way I will return.

Staying in the White City
Pros:

Good time, gorgeous location, amazing breakfast, enchanting genre, and great food.(breakfast buffet to die for!) Had a small issue with check in, as my wife did not bring her passport to show she had entered the country in the last 60 days to avoid taxes and the lady did not understand that I was the one paying for the room and they had mine. My wife is a dual national. We waiting and the lady at the next shift handled it. This is a small almost botique hotel and I loved the people and the layout. Please note that there is no pool or gym, but they will give you access to the ones at the 4 star Casa Andina in the plaza. Everything was very clean, good value, and the rooms were quiet other then 6am had a family one morning who decide to have a bratty kid outside our door.

NO SE PUEDE DESCANSAR
Pros:

La ubicación

Cons:

Comfortable, central hotel.
Pros:

By far and away the best of the 3 Casa Andina hotels that we stayed in. Clean, comfortable, spacious room, introductory chocolates, VG breakfast including fresh strawberry juice, yum, and very helpful staff. When we went to checkout for an early departure next day they immediately offered a breakfast box. The restaurant offers VG food (in very filling quantities). The location was ideal, a few minutes walk from the centre.
