Very nice man at reception
Location, Location, Location! What a view and sitting on the balcony was such a lovely experience.
Parking can be difficult, but the staff will do their best.
Excellent place with beautiful sea views, clean and comfortable. Perfect for a weekend getaway for couples
Doesnt have a proper car park but it is not an issue at all
The location of the Harbour Hotel is brilliant - wonderful views over the harbour, with lots interesting happening there.
We also had a really good evening meal in the excellent restaurant
Nothing
Quiet location but easy access to the town. Great views over the harbour
The double bed was a bit cramped and the bed frame in need of some TLC
Fantastic location. The views were stunning. Aaron was so lovely and personable. The room was clean and tidy and, although compact, had everything you needed. It was very good value for money and a great base to explore the area.

Location was amazing best view in Newquay with out a doubt! The food in the hotel was another level! The staff couldn’t do enough and were so friendly, will be regulars now for sure, very memorable and made my partners birthday really special
Nothing!
Very poor value for money. Experience did not match the properties online rating, description or general comments. Feel scammed.
The view from the room is amazing. Directly into the harbour. Access from room down a few steps onto the harbour for walks and swimming. Up a short hill into the main town or Fistral.
Lighting in the hallway to see door lock.
Fabulous location, gorgeous views over the harbour
Room was very cold on arrival, small heater had been plugged in prior to arrival.
The shower was awful, over a corner bath, water pressure was very poor, it took ages to wash my hair and because the room and bathroom was cold it was not a pleasant experience getting ready for dinner.
The Terrace and the view is everything here and makes up for everything else
The fact that this property is listed as a 5 star is a bit of a joke but the view and the price make up for everything else.
Really disappointing. As this accommodation was advertised as 5 stars i was expecting a small boutique experience. Its not. Its not a hotel. Its a restaurant with basic rooms above. When arriving the front door was locked and i had to go dn to kitchen and call out to find someone. I was shocked when we were shown the room. Small with small ?double wooden frame bed, tiny bathroom, 1 chair in room and jug/coffee. This was one of the more expensive rooms we booked in the UK as we were in Newquay for 3 nites and thought we were booking somewhere nice. Its not a treat and its over priced. There is a reason why there are so few photos of the rooms on site. We had paid a week in advance $1500 NZ approx for the 3 nites so we werent going to see that back if we left. The 1st thing we did after seeing the room was rush to The Red Lion pub up the hill for a few cocktails (great pub) . We were lucky that it rained heavily that 1st nite and we were moved to a larger room but it certainly wasnt luxury. The location is great and views awesome but they are going to charge these prices an upgrade is required. Its 3 stars at best. The room reminded me of a back packers. Host Aaron a lovely guy. Honestly in 2 weeks we had in the UK was the worse accommodation we stayed at and 2nd to dearest. Im sure there are better options out there.
Great
The restaurant policy regarding closing time
The views from the room are great. Aaron n his staff are lovely. Not a 5 star, more a 3 star with great views n location.
Need a nightlight in the corridor to see the room keyhole at nite.
From the first moment we arrived we have never felt so warm and welcomed by a hotel that gives you that home from home feeling. We already feel part
Of the family, we have spoken to several people who come back each year and we totally get it! Location is everything this is perfect! Everything is on your doorstep! Room fabulous so tranquil and the staff are top shelf! We honestly have had the most loveliest time! And Aaron’s cooking is out of this world and we will be sad to leave it! Already looked at our next visit! See you at Christmas!
Words cannot express how comfortable this place is I could write for days, no place is perfect but this place is! So have a wonderful time to anyone staying after we leave!
