It was a quick one night stay. Happy for the accommodations but the room smelled beds were hard

Nice hotel and very quiet even though our unit was facing the street and on the floor level.
Pros:

Jessica at check in was very informative and helpful advising us of the amenities and answered any questions we had.

Cons:

The handheld shower unit fell apart on the first day we tried to use the shower. Called front desk and they send Fred/staff to investigate the issue. A few minutes later, Jose/staff showed up and replaced the entire unit!
Also, the wall electrical outlet for the coffee maker did not have 110v power so we had to move the coffee maker to the bathroom outlet to make coffee. Front desk advised. The in-room HVAC unit was way TOO LOUD when turned on for AC! Had to turn up the TV volume to hear!

The perfect place for families with loud children and deaf seniors.
Pros:

The location was great -- right across the street from the beach and close to many restaurants and shops. Parking in the basement garage was complimentary. The people in reception were friendly.

Cons:

This is the noisiest place we've stayed in decades. We requested a courtyard room to be away from loud traffic noise on Pacific Coast Highway that runs right by the sea view rooms. But the courtyard was as noisy as an elementary school playground. Even the voices of adults walking past our room were loud as if in an echo chamber. The only quiet time was between 10:30 pm and 6:45 am. The black out curtains were very hard to close, and on the last night of our stay the water faucet broke off -- with water gushing everywhere. Until we checked out the next day our only water source was the bathtub. The only thing we liked about the breakfast was the bananas. Fruit Loops, packaged sweet rolls and sausage are not for us.

Great day we would definitely go back and stay there again
Pros:

The staff was very helpful and pleasant and the location is excellent. They provided a nice parking garage for people who drove in.

Cons:

The air conditioner was a little tricky to use in the alarm clock that was in the room, went off in the middle of the night
