Laru Beya Resort

The staff are friendly, accommodating, and efficient. The food was delicious. The property was well maintained. It was very relaxing.

Went off season and had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. Beach is beautiful. Pool is very comfortable. Everything works and all who workbthere are accommodating.

Lari beya is a small locally owned resort. They staff is great and the general vibe could not be better.
Its quiet and the grounds and location are splendid. This resort is across from the moorimgs charter base, it is not in the small town of placencia. It is approximately 15 to 20 minute taxi ride away.
They do have a fleet of golf carts they will rent you so you can get around and drive into the town as you wish.
I highly recommend this place unless your goal is to get drunk in the bars in the town... you would be better off gutting a room at a hotel in the town so you cohld stumble home ! That said, word is the drinks at lari beya are really good :)

we loved being on the beach. They give you bottle water in your room, which we loved! The town is about 5 min away. We saw parrots and hummingbirds on the resort! The entire staff is amazing! If you can walk over the seaweed into the ocean....the ocean is warm and amazing!

Wonderful stay. Liked it so much, we changed plans to also stay there a week later. Friendly, exceptionally helpful staff in a nice location.

Great resort property we used in conjunction with renting a Moorings catamaran for a week.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The resort was clean, and the rooms were comfortable. Luau Beya is a beautiful resort in a lovely setting

Stayed for 2 nights, 1 in a deluxe oceanview and the second in a suite as we were upgraded.
Suite was very good, room was good.
Property was good, nice pool and restaurant. Don't feel all-inclusive would be worth the cost. Stayed a la carte was better value. Good location to town, good service from the staff

Very good stay. We were upgraded to an oceanview suite for the first night. Amazing. The second we had a delux room which was also nice but a step down.
Great private patio with ocean views. Hammocks.
Dinner was good. We were not on the all-inclusive package so the value was good. Im not sure the additional 440 per night is worth it.

We LOVE this place. The accommodations are lovely, the view magnificent, and the restaurant/ pool setting is magical.All that is trumped by a kind and friendly staff.

Not a luxury resort. Management was terrible. Food was good and staff was good. Manager was very poor.

Laru Beya is a quaint, pretty and friendly resort. It was very quiet when we went, during rainy season. The rooms are HUGE and feel more like a condo than a hotel room with full, well-equipped kitchens. The rooms were sparkling clean and well-air conditioned. The pool is also kept very very clean. The staff was very friendly, from housekeeping to restaurant staff. We especially enjoyed Nelsy, who addressed us by name throughout our visit and was incredibly sweet and genuine. It is nice to have a car when staying here (Placencia rental car is walking distance) or to rent a golf cart (same price), as it's about 3 mi. from Placencia Village and perhaps 12 miles to Maya Beach to the north. . You can also use the resort's bikes to get to nearby Publix grocery. Overall, a beautiful property with warm, welcoming people!

Laru Beya is a quiet resort situated on the beach and surrounded by palm trees and well kept gardens. It is an ideal location for families, couples and singles of all ages. The staff are wonderful and are determined to make your stay the very best. Mildred will assist with trips and tours, Emery, Santiago and Nelsey take care of your food and drink needs at the on-site restaurant (The Quarterdeck). Our room was well taken care of daily by Ms. "J" with fresh towels for personal and beach use every day. Bikes (free) and golf carts (fee) are available for travel into Placencia, Seine Bight is a short walk from the resort. Book your tours through the resort, they are cheaper than the other tour operators and Simon Pau is hands down the best guide.
