Laid-Back Luxury in the Perfect Location

We absolutely loved our stay at Paia Inn. The location truly can’t be beat — right in the heart of Paia and walkable to everything, yet still peaceful and private.
The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Every interaction felt warm and relaxed, which perfectly matched the Maui vibe.
Bonus points for the communal Nespresso machine (such a thoughtful touch ☕️), free on-site parking (huge perk in Paia), and complimentary access to Fuzion Fit gym. My husband and I were able to sneak in a great workout during our stay, which we really appreciated.
If you’re looking for something charming, intimate, and perfectly situated, Paia Inn is a gem.

Nothing, we did not like anything about this place. Well, the front desk staff was friendly and she did allow us to check in early (it was stormy that weekend.

Such a creepy place! There was a sun room, but the vegetation in the "garden" is so overgrown no sun could peak through. The rooms are dank, old, creaky floors, dirty, missing light fixtures and ALL FOR $500 per night!!! no light in the shower, tiling done not by a skilled tile person. The refrigerator was a recycled wine frig. Many fixtures were recycled badly - The beach is a joke. The water container was dirty - so we cleaned it. There was a used wash cloth in the shower. I really want my money back. My husband said the place was "spooky" and he is right. We left almost immediately after we woke up - left hours earlier than we needed. I guess it is back to Hiltons and chain hotels - want to support local businesses, but they need to really improve.

The bed was comfortable and the bath towels were superb and the location was perfect and the staff were friendly and helpful

Cons:

Cost and had a few unwanted critters ( ants and roaches) the ants were because wrapped food was placed on top of fridge for a short period before being put away

Pros:

L’emplacement est parfait pour rayonner à partir de Paia (tout près de l’aéroport en plus), c’est bien entretenu, l’espace café, c’est génial pour débuter ou terminer la journée, le personnel est dynamique, accueillant et très professionnel. L’accès au Surf club (plage) et la proximité de bons restaurants.

Cons:

Assurément les coquerelles… et le prix est élevé (mais quand même compétitif pour Hawaii). Plus de body boards disponibles pour emprunter au Surf club serait apprécié.

Perfektes Hotel um Mauai zu genießen! Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Pros:

Wir waren rundherum mit allem zufrieden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Appartement war sehr gemütlich, man hatte sehr viel Platz und die Lage ist perfekt. Außerdem gab es kostenlose Parkplätze direkt am und in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hotels.

Cons:

Einziger „negativer“ Punkt war die Küchenausstatung! Diese müsste noch verbessert werden.

A quick overnight stay to be closer to the airport on our departure day.
Pros:

Location was excellent! Located in the heart of town, everything was easily accessible by walking. Cute little local shops, restaurants, and a grocery store.
