The location and the staff behaviour

Location, staff, pool and housekeeping all fantasic.
Clean and bathroom very good with Powerful shower and huge bath. The garden is big and when they have finished renovations the games room will be great

Nothing, worse experience ever, the place is full with old people and everywhere u can feel that smell of old people 😅😅

The hotel was full which should say how popular it was . We had a lovely quiet room the only downside is the shower over bath ,it is not good when you cannot climb into a bath so 1 out of 10 for that . The hotel is clean ,the rooms clean , bingo and entertainment ,near a local bus stop , close to a pleasant walk into town .However what ruined it was the food delivery , the restaurant was full and lack of enough staff lead to most meals being cold or luke warm on arrival at table . It should be kitchen to table no leaving meals on side checking order first . For that reason I doubt that I shall return .

We were part of an independent coach trip ( not daishes ) ( around 32 of us ) .We were given a very warm welcome and the whole stay was pleasant . Nice clean room ,comfy beds , everything worked that was suppose to work . Had a small blip with the wash basin being blocked which we mentioned to reception on our way to breakfast. By the time we'd eaten and gone back it was sorted , very efficient . Husband is gluten free and couldn't fault the service and attention he had . There was enough choice on the menu ,and didn't hear anyone complaining . Waiters were very good , our main waiter was Arnau who was Spanish and nothing was too much trouble . Our group said they enjoyed bingo and entertainment each evening . Mothers day all the ladies were given a flower , a chocolate and a free drink . Bar prices and snacks , hot drinks etc very reasonable .All the staff were helpful and pleasant . Would definitely stay again

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay this week. I stayed for an overall 4 nights and found my room to be nice and clean. The location is great and right by Tolcarne Beach! The staff were incredible- I’d like to thank Kirsty the receptionist she was ever so helpful and provided me with lots of information about what Barrowfield has to offer! Tegan who works in the restaurant was amazing too, very friendly and she was quick to serve us. I’d recommend this hotel to those who want a nice getaway to enjoy Newquay as it’s personally one of my favourite places to visit.

All staff were polite and helpful, special thanks to Arnall the waiter, always obliging.

Just back from a 5 day coach holiday at Barrowfield hotel
Newquay,very good staff,fab meals,clean, comfy bed/ room,
+ a swimming pool !! don't know how they do it for the price!
+ entertainment every night,and as it was mothering Sunday
before the evening meal for the lady's a glass of sherry+ chocolates, a fantastic break,thank you.

My husband and I have just spent 4 nights and are very satisfied with our stay; very clean, excellent value, good food, cheerful staff, evening entertainment, small swimming pool and perfect location so close to sea and town centre. Cathy the deputy manager was very helpful, as well as Kirsty the receptionist. And Kegan is a very efficient cheerful waitress.
And on Mother's day, the ladies were all treated to a glass of Baileys, a chocolate heart and a rose! Such a nice touch!

We had a lovely 4 night break. All of the staff were very polite, helpful & friendly. A variety of food was available daily in the restaurant and a well stocked bar. Entertainment & Bingo every night. Twin room was very spaceous. Lovely indoor heated pool.

Stayed 4 nights at Daish's Barrowfields hotel in Newquay.
We had a very pleasant time. The hotel was warm, clean and welcoming.
Food and entertainment was very good value for what we paid and l would like to give shout out to our hard working waitress Tegan.
We will be returning to this hotel in the future.

Just back from 5 day break, can't fault the staff Jane very helpful in providing info, Jack ( jack of all trades lol ) behind the bar good lad and Teigan in restaurant also needs a mention very good, food really good, good entertainment, would definitely come back, bus stops outside hotel info on bus times in hotel, 10/15 min walk into town for those more able, in all good break.

Third time to the barrowfield hotel.. always a enjoyable stay..nice clean room..good food.. friendly staff.. value for money with daish..and of course beautiful Cornwall..

Just returned from a 5 day holiday with Daishs staying at the wonderful Barrowfield Hotel. Our room 107 was clean,bright and modern decor. Meals at the Barrowfield were hot and plentiful, very enjoyable. Thank you to Jane and her wonderful staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We've just came back from a 5 day holiday with dashies at the barrowfield Hotel. We had the most lovely time. Jane the manageress is fantastic can't do enough for the guests and her staff and she works so hard . Teegan our waitress was so helpful and helped me make my mother in laws 74th birthday extra special. Helena was our house keeper and even when she didn't need to come in the room she left us with drink supplies Jack and the bar staff was great and all staff was approachable and a credit to Jane and dashies. The meals was excellent always hot and a good choice. Hotel was clean and plenty of seating options. Room 3 was our room and it was lovely I will be returning next time by myself for a bit of me time.
Value for money can't beat it. Beach is stunning and shops for what you need .

We have just come back from a lovely 5 day holiday in the Barrowfield Hotel, food was great evening entertainment was brilliant good singer great comedian the Jane manager she was very helpful and hands on, the staff was the same rooms was very clean and warm to warm sometimes lol the shops are 15 minutes walk also there’s a Witherspoon near the shops lol, also very good for what we paid.

Travelling with jason edwards coach company, had an amazing stay. All staff were amazing , very helpful, nothing too much trouble for them to adhere to our needs and comfort. Restaurant was very spacious and food was top class menu. Jayne the manager is exceptional, very pleasant, helpful and ensured that we had everything you need to make our stay enjoyable.

I went as a solo traveler never done it before never been on the coach treat before but I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed myself was a bit apprehensive at first of going on my own but everybody was so kind to me especially when they found out that I got travel sit trying to help me and things the staff in the hotel were also brilliant and I can't complain about the food either which is unusual for me because I generally got something to complain about. Unfortunately I can complain about the weather but that isn't our faults that's left into the hands of the gods. I booked the trip away as a present for myself as it was my birthday. I would definitely recommend going, if people can travel on a coach without feeling ill like I did but that was sorted on the way back as I got some tablets for that. Definitely enough of variety of food on the menu for breakfast and dinner, swimming pool also, though I didn't take advantage of it I was going to but I felt a bit silly going in on my own. The only thing I can say, was I do think it means well my bedroom did anyway and upgrade of furniture.
