Great stay
Quiet at night.
Very good apartment hotel with good location. Lovely staff. Good indication about the after hour check in.
Very clean but very few amenities. Not really a hotel but serviced rooms
Hotel was clean. Rooms as described but very noisy. Not soundproofed as advertised. No breakfast room, although I think you could order to your room the day before. Reception closed from 4/4.30. More like serviced rooms than hotel unfortunately.
We selected this hotel because we were wanting a hotel within walking distance of the Archeology Museum and the Hellenic Motor Museum. The front desk is only staffed from 7 am to 4 pm, but that worked for us. We were given a keycard that would allow us to access the hotel's locked front door after hours. The front desk clerk was friendly and we were able to access our room earlier than the normal check-in time as a room was available. There were two elevators with one being very tiny and the other slightly bigger. The hotel does not provide face cloths in the bathroom, and our room did not have a safe for valuables.
Nice , silent and tidy and rather perfect located for you who wants to explore Athens/ Pireus area. Nice staff...from the frontdesk to the cleaners..... all of them did a great job. We got upgraded to room 505.... located on the sunny side...so...we have a nice "novembersun" on the balcony all day..ish.... 9:30-17:00. The beds was OK...semisoft....nice big bathroom....a small pentry with a stove...a zink and a small fridge......BUT no "tools"..... No daily Breakfast ....you have to order it from another place...so.... we fixed it ourselves.... and we had an "espressomachine" in the room.... and sat on the nice big balcony every morning.
A walk south to citycentre took us 30-45 minutes....but we used the subway five days of our stay....you have a ca 10 minutes walk to Victoria station...and the green line..took us all the way between Kiffissa in the north to Pireus in the south....without any changes...and the station Monastiraki was only a 10 minutes ride away.. perfect....btw...if you leave the subway at Faliro station...close to Pireus..ou can take the Tram...further south...to Glyfada and the Lakes of Vouliagmeni.
There were lots of resturants close by the hotell....
I will recomend this hotel 👍👍👍👍
Very clean, well maintained- helpful staff.
We had a very comfortable and quiet room with a wonderful bathroom and great view across the roof tops of Athens towards the acropolis. Very close to the bus stop to get downtown, and a short walk to the metro station to get just about anywhere. Public transport is quite convenient here.
Small rooms but clean
Location was not to our liking, rooms were nice
I enjoyed my stay at Areos. The staff were great and the facility was nice. Unfamiliar with the area, but it did seem like it was an undesirable part of Athens BUT I always felt safe and comfortable and many walkable amenities nearby such as the bus station, coffee, food and the Archaeological Musuem. I would stay here again.
Great place
Very pleased! Price, cleaning, location, comfort. I’m glad we chose this hotel.
Very comfortable room - nice balcony, air-con worked well, bathroom very clean and shower was excellent. Street outside gets quite noisy though. Very reasonably priced in high season at £75 per night. Staff member on reception was very friendly and helpful, though the reception is only staffed from 7am-4pm. It's a bit inconvenient that everything is self-service after 4pm (though I could still check in fine). Worse still, no breakfast is served at this hotel.
Great place. Clean
Nice hotel close to the anthropological museum. No dining options around the hotel you can walk to. Commercial area- everything closes early.
The internet falsely advertised this property. The pictures and information show a full service coffee bar, but it is shut down since Covid and there is a coffee vending machine where you pay 1 euro. Also, it state's there is a rooftop restaurant and bar which is also closed. It also states that the balconys have a table and chairs for outside sitting but did not see that any where in any room. The best part of the stay was the lovely housekeeper. She was so sweet and so helpful and very kind. Front desk woman was rude and didn't even say good morning and greet anyone. I will not stay here again. Over priced hotel. The house keeper was the best. She deserves a raise.
Very nice hotel for the price. Clean quiet comfortable well run. Very Close to a beautiful big park and the FABULOUS Archeological museum just down the street.
Nice hotel
