Villa Medusa

I’ve visited many times over the years. I enjoy the having a restful time in this peaceful place. It suits me well as a lone traveller. Nikos is a very good host.

A lovely relaxed property and the manager George is amazing.

La cuisine était encombrée de 2 frigidaires rouillées et deux plaques de cuisson dans un studio minuscule, pas d’éponge pas de produit vaisselle pas de torchon
Un accueil déplorable ne comprend pas le français .Wifi pas dans toute les chambres, piscine à l’ombre très vite et peu chauffé par le soleil

Hallo Niko, vielen Dank für die netten 6 Tage in Villa Medusa. Nette, kleine Anlage, gut gepflegt, sauberer Pool, sehr freundlicher Umgang. Das Zimmer und die überdachte Terrasse sowie die Aufenthalte am Pool waren Grundlage für schöne Tage und wir beabsichtigen, nächstes Jahr (dann aber für länger) wiederzukommen. Wir melden uns dann. Séjour d'une nuit. Très bon accueillir, chambre et sdb très propre.
Situé à seulement 15 mn de l'aeroport donc pratique pour départ matinal ou arrivée tardive.

Villa Medusa is perfect, Nikos the owner is lovely. 5 minute walk to the old village square, the food in the square is very traditional is good value, if you are there on a Monday it’s greek night if you want to eat a decent restaurant you will need to book 2 days in advance.

Auf Kreta zentral an der Nordküste gelegen und verkehrsgünstig angebunden; perfekt für Ausflüge mit dem Auto.

Diverse Tavernen im Ortszentrum sind fußläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar.

Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sehr sauber und werden täglich gereinigt. Pool ist mit moderner Filteranlage ausgestattet und ebenfalls sehr sauber. Für die Selbstversorgung stehen Kühlschrank, Herd, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine und entsprechendes Kochgeschirr bereit.
Die Betten sind sehr bequem, sodass man viel zu lange schläft.

Nikos ist meist immer anwesend und bei Fragen immer sehr hilfsbereit und spricht auch englisch und deutsch.

Die Anlage ist angenehm klein gehalten, perfekt zum Entspannen und Relaxen

Luogo tranquillo e camere ospitali.
Da migliorare la manutenzione di piscina e arredi. Angolo cucina da riorganizzare per permettere la preparazione dei pasti. Nikos , il titolare, molto disponibile. Piu caffè!!

Ontvangst was bijzonder vriendelijk door de eigenaar Nikos. Er stond al een lekkere koele fles water klaar en alvast de mogelijkheid om een heerlijk kopje koffie te zetten. Fantastische bedden en douche "wauw", zelf met een massagekop.
Ook de schoonmaak van het appartement was geweldig, door de lieve en behulpzame Heleni.
We hebben onze vakantie daar in rust doorgebracht, wat ook hoog in het vaandel staat bij de eigenaar.
We al In het kort gezegd "voor iedereen aan te bevelen".

Overall a really good stay Nikos the owner is always there if you need help which we did on a couple of occasions one occasion in particular when my daughters room had no electricity within half an hour nikos had an electrician on site to sort the issue out and it was resolved very promptly.
The location of the villa is quite rural but 600m from hersonisoss village with all the traditional tavernas which produced some amazing cuisine.

Wir wurden von Nikos sehr freundlich empfangen und konnten uns ein Apartment aussuchen. Der Wunsch nach einer kleinen Kaffeemaschine wurde sofort erfüllt und zum Frühstück brachte uns Nikos noch Honig und frische Feigen.
Der Pool war, wie die gesamte Anlage sehr sauber.
Insgesamt eher einfacher Standard, aber für uns genau richtig und wie beschrieben.

Nikos a su nous conseiller durant notre voyage ,nous avons très bien été accueilli à la villa médusa ,village typique calme avec commerce et restaurants à proximités, mes enfants ont adoré la villa ,si nous devions revenir en Crète nous reviendrons avec plaisir séjourner à Hersonissos à la villa médusa l'endroit et facile et accessible pour visité le reste de Crète ,un grand merci à NIKOS et à bientôt.

Toller Aufenthalt, Nikos, der Besitzer, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Very nice hotel, we arrived late but the owner kindly left us a note and keys, room was up graded free of charge to a bigger sea view room due to our other room having a trchnical issue. Met the owner in the morning, very nice guy, very informative. The hotel was a bit remote with the only public bus station being a 30 minute walk away down a 60 road, the local town was very cute and had a shop near buy, the room was big and clean, bathroom a bit dated but definitely worth the price we paid!

Et helt igennem fantastisk sted. En sød rar og imødekommende vært, der gør ALT for sine gæster. Det mest rene og komfortable hotel med daglig rengøring af værelser, skift af linned og håndklæder og et super rent poolområde og bassin. Skøn beliggenhed i det gamle Hersonissos. Fred og ro og alligevel masser af små tavernaer. Et yderst venligt og imødekommende lokalsamfund hvor man føler sig velkommen. Vi kan på det varmeste anbefale Villa Medusa og vender helt sikkert tilbage hertil.
