Breakfast was excellent and very comfy beds. Loved the whole quirky decorations and the lovely little individual Gardens. Would recommend it to friends. The staff were very helpful
Friendly staff, great breakfast, clean and good location
The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Fine for 1 night but left with achy necks and backs. We have stayed previously and didn't have the same problem so it depends on the room you are in.
With only 10 rooms, we found the hotel quiet and peaceful. Staff were hard working and polite.
It was good to see the use of local produce and ethical products. Breakfasts were well planned which meant little wastage which I hate.
Would recommend and definitely stay again.

Everything! The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming. They were always on hand if you needed anything. It was quiet and close to the new Forest which is about 10 mins walk. We also really enjoyed the food at the onsite restaurant. We loved our little balcony area outside our room as well. I particularly loved that you have a reserved parking space outside!
Low ceilings, I bumped my head but that’s more my own fault. Remember to duck if you’re tall walking through the doors!

The friendly and knowledgeable staff made an idyllic location and relaxed holiday even better.
Great breakfast and nice tea with cake upon entry. Everything was well explained and recommendations for the local area provided. The building, although low in ceiling height, was lovely- 17th century building with nicely named rooms. The amazing pony-strewn surroundings make this a wonderful place to stay.
The named car parking space was also a nice touch.
Highly recommended for a short break and am sure a longer one would be just as great.

An exceptionally friendly welcome and great service. The property is in a central location which made for a perfect stay without having to use the car at all. Breakfast was high quality - no buffet - all served to you which made a nice change and made for a relaxing start to the day. The room was large, clean and had everything you needed.
