Excellent breakfast. Comfortable room. Perfect location. I had a great stay.

Excellent breakfast, great location and very friendly staff.
Our room had a very small bathroom and anyone over 5ft11 would struggle to stand up in the shower. Room was small, and we couldn't plug kettle in without putting it on an upturned bin on the floor. Road outside pretty noisy.
Lovely friendly staff who were extremely helpful. The room was unique with tree bed which was very comfortable. The breakfast was perfect, served with smile by lovely ladies. Everywhere was clean and well looked after. Sorry we left without saying goodbye and thankyou but we needed to get on the road while it was cooler a d the staff were busy in the kitchen.
Nothing the Cottage Lodge could do about the weather but it was extremely hot and the fan was much needed but dudnt help a grest deal.
We had our own little front door with seating area outside as we were around the back. The room was lovely and clean as was the main hotel. I loved the named parking spot and the snug area. It was also in a great location and the staff were lovely.

Only one thing, our room was next to kitchen and the extractor was very noisy. It was a shame as there was a lovely terrace. If we stay here again we will ask for a room away from the extractor.

Gem of a hotel. Staff are very welcoming and friendly and allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel before check in and after check out, so that we could go for a walk. The room was very clean and modern with a tv, comfy bed and there was a decent amount of storage too. The shower was great too. Breakfast was included and the options were vast and the quality was top notch.

Excellent food, staff charming, location great,only tiny thing bed a little too soft ( twin) but that’s personal preference.

A very warm welcome on arrival accompanied by tea and cake. Breakfasts were excellent and made to order from an imaginative menu of local produce. Our room was spacious, tastefully furnished with a lovely bathroom. The personalised allocated parking was also a nice touch.

We liked the actual place so lovely and comfortable and in a great location central for bars & restaurants 😀 and in walking distance as well.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming and helpful.
Breakfast was very nice as well. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Also we intend on returning again as enjoyed very much. 😀
