The hotel is very well located, the location is honestly perfect. The beach is great and the overall vibe is really nice. I especially loved the pool area with the pink touches, it’s super cute and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Also, special shoutout to Ben on the beach he was amazing and incredibly kind throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, the rooms are not at the level they should be for such a great location. Renovations are definitely needed, especially in the bathrooms. There’s a strong humidity smell, the closets smell musty, and the ventilation feels outdated. The bathroom honestly felt dirty, which made the experience really uncomfortable to the point where I didn’t feel at ease showering or even using it.
Housekeeping was also a big issue. The floors were never properly cleaned (which is crazy for a beach hotel with sand everywhere), towels were stained, and there were clear signs of poor cleaning standards (hair under the scale, visible marks around the toilet, etc.). We even had to call multiple times because cleaning wasn’t done properly.
Because of this, despite the amazing location, it really impacted our stay and honestly makes me not want to come back.

The bed was not very good, there was a depression in one side of the mattress.

The pool and food were very good
Our floors were very dirty and so was the bathroom. We left our luggage in a holding room the day we were checking out because our flight was not until late that night. When it was time to get the luggage, I found it in the lobby soaking wet sitting on a luggage carrier..I proceeded to ask the front desk why my luggage including my 3 other family members luggage was wet & removed from the room has put it in. They told me that the bell hop guys that work the front accidentally put our luggage into someone else’s car and that person drove all the way to Ft. Lauderdale before realizing that the luggage in his trunk was in fact not his..he then left sit outside in rain because it stormed that day until the front desk realized what happened & sent an uber to go pick up our luggage & bring it back to grand beach! They did not even attempt to contact me to let me know what happened..I only found out because the luggage was sitting in the lobby when it was brought back and soaking wet from the rain! It honestly what a disaster and we were so disappointed on how the whole situation was handled! I was given a run around that the manger was aware of what happened and would be reaching out to me directly! We had valuable jewelry and my elderly mother’s medication was in the bag that was taken..not to mention our belongings were all wet! Very nerve wracking! I had to leave to catch our flight but was told the manager would call me! Well no phone calls when I got home the following day..I waited all week for someone to reach out to me to compensate for what had happened but no one called! I had to be the one to contact the hotel and demand some of refund! After almost two weeks I finally got a credit from booking because that’s what I booked through! It was honestly such a mess! Needless to say we will no be returning to grand beach for any future stays! Our heart & best experiences have been at the fountainbleau just a few blocks down from grand beach!

Location was lovely, Hotel lovely. Very very expensive to eat and drink at hotel. We stayed 3 nights as a family of 5 (3 children) . Very expensive for drinks. Hotel was lovely and clean, great location. Only thing I wasnt happy with was that when we arrived to our family room the kids bed was not made up with no pillows or bedding available. I had to call reception and someone came up to make the bed for the children however we waiting over 40 minues for this and after a 11 hour flight the kids just wanted to go to sleep. This was really annoying

Loved the location, hotel was beautiful, we had a partial sea view which was nice. Very aesthetically pleasing by the pool, kids loved the warm pool which was great. Staff were all very polite, happy and helpful.
If I had to be picky, but I loved the place, the only two things would be umbrellas at the beach - there wasn’t any when we went, and a little music around the pool even if quiet.

It was extremely cold in the rooms and lobby. understanding why they don’t let guest control the temperature, they should’l make it a little more comfortable.
Good location, as a beachfront property. Weather disappointing, making the beach off limits.
The attitude of the staff was off putting. An initial contact to inform of a delayed check-in was ignored. Eventually a curt reply was received. We were put into a lower king room with side view, rather than king room with pool view we paid for with booking.com. No explanation or response again by email. An attempt to secure a taxi at a special rate was double the uber rate.
