Whenever I'm in Miami, I always stay at the Carillon. It's located on my favorite part of the beach — quiet, but within easy reach of more exciting night life should you want it. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed — more like apartments, with small kitchens -- and there's plenty of room if you're traveling with family or friends (the two-bedroom is perfect if visiting with children).

But what really stands out are the spa and wellness facilities — steam, sauna, relaxation lounges, hot tub, etc., plus they offer a whole range of touchless wellness circuits designed around different outcomes (sleep, relaxation, recovery and pain, detoxification, etc.). I did the Sleep Well Circuit before my flight home to London and it definitely helped on the overnight flight.

They also have some of the best spa therapists in Miami — consistently top-notch — and the spa is large enough that I've never had a problem getting a treatment. Healthy food options continue at the on-site restaurants, and you can even order food and drinks to your lounger on the beach. If you're looking for a chilled-out, healthy wellness stay on Miami Beach, Carillon is the place to be!

This is the best Spa experience I have had in my life. They are super helpful and attentive. Christina was amazing, she was able to make my experience there memorable.

Such a relaxing experience! Interesting sensation with the Neo Light Therapy, various points of tingling. Loved the Himalayan Salt Chamber, extremely relaxing and warm sensations throughout. Would recommend!

When the temperatures are chilly in Miami Beach, head to the Carillon Wellness Resort..the service, the food (Blue Zone influenced), and the spa treatments are sensational; a little piece of heaven right here in Miami Beach!

Just took a great class with Esther. Pilates Reformer with Tower and chair. Lots of variety. She is a very caring and helpful instructor.

Amazing experience at the spa. Tammy and her team are truly exceptional and exemplify a deep understanding of wellness. Marc was educating me every step if the way on my Cricut, he was wonderful. Their treatments are both restorative and deeply relaxing, I left feeling better than when I arrived. The amenities are unparalleled, from the rooftop pools and igloo saunas to the steam rooms, essential oil showers, and zero-gravity heated chairs. Even the ladies’ lounge is thoughtfully appointed with five-star products. Not to mention delish teas & cookies, exceptionally clean space! I could've spent days enjoying! I cannot wait to return.

From the moment I arrived, this spa felt like pure magic. The valet set the tone immediately with such warmth and ease, and the Front Desk staff were equally welcoming, professional, and attentive. Every transition felt seamless, like I was being gently carried through an experience that was so clearly curated with care.

The spa amenities themselves were next-level. The sauna, the aromatherapy room, the igloo room, the hot tub—each space felt intentional, immersive, and incredibly restorative. It wasn’t just relaxing; it was transportive. I truly felt like I was experiencing something special, a once-in-a-lifetime kind of day where time slowed down and my nervous system finally exhaled.

And then came the massage with Dario… which deserves its own standing ovation. Dario is, without exaggeration, one of the most gifted massage therapists I have ever encountered. His touch was intuitive, grounded, and deeply therapeutic. He has that rare ability to read the body without words—knowing exactly where to work, when to go deeper, and when to soften. I left feeling physically transformed, emotionally reset, and profoundly cared for.

I sincerely hope Carillon recognizes what an absolute gem they have in Dario. He is not just an incredible massage therapist—he is a healer, and he elevates the entire spa experience to another level. He went above and beyond in every sense, and his work is something truly special.

This spa is excellence from start to finish. Thoughtful, luxurious, and unforgettable. I will be dreaming about this experience for a long time—and counting down until I can return.

Recently, I visited the Carillon Hotel in Miami Beach for a massage service, and I wanted to highlight how exceptional my experience was—especially with the valet service.

From the moment I arrived, the valet service was outstanding. Jonathan Gomez was incredibly attentive, warm, and welcoming. He provided a clear and detailed explanation of the hotel amenities and made the entire arrival process smooth and stress-free. His professionalism and friendly attitude truly set the tone for my visit.

Thanks to this great first impression and the excellent service I received throughout my stay, my experience felt special right from the start. I genuinely enjoyed my time at the hotel and am already thinking about coming back again.

I had an amazing experience with the day pass and couldn’t have asked for a better day. From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding. Destiny and Lauren at the spa front desk were so warm, friendly, and helpful. They made everything seamless and truly made me feel welcomed. At the beach, Juan went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. The entire experience was relaxing, luxurious, and exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely recommend a day pass and would happily come back again!

Carillon Miami Wellness Resort – One of the Worst Hotel Experiences I’ve Ever Had

My wife and I booked what was supposed to be a luxury “wellness retreat” at the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort. We paid $2,200 for just TWO nights, expecting a premium, stress-free experience. What we got instead was frustration, hidden fees, broken amenities, and borderline unacceptable conditions.

First off, the price is misleading. The $2,200 did NOT include the mandatory “resort fee + resort fee tax” — charged twice, adding another $100 on top. For a so-called luxury resort, that’s already a bad start.

The room itself was a disaster:
• Dead bugs in the bed. Completely unacceptable at any price point, let alone this one.
• The bathtub drain was broken — even when closed, it kept draining.
• No complimentary water in the room. At a “wellness resort.” Let that sink in.
• The TVs weren’t even smart TVs. In 2025. The only options were ~20 basic channels or paying for outdated movies.

We booked the highest room with “ocean view.” That description is extremely misleading. Yes, if you crane your neck and look far to the left, you can technically see the ocean. Straight ahead? A south tower and a neighboring building with constant construction noise. Nothing like what’s portrayed online.

Service and logistics were equally bad:
• The key cards didn’t work — for the gate, the elevator, OR the room. Repeatedly.
• We Ubered because parking is $40 per night ($80 total), which is insane for a hotel already charging luxury prices.
• They claim to be dog-friendly, but when we asked about bringing our small Yorkie, we were told it would cost $250 extra. That’s not dog-friendly — that’s deceptive marketing.

Dining and spa were where things went from bad to outrageous:
• We received a $60 breakfast credit, but even a basic breakfast for two (eggs, bacon, toast, coffee) came out to $90. The credit was basically useless.
• We were given a $150 spa credit, but ONE facial cost $239. Fine — we expected to pay the difference. Instead, we were charged $315.98, with no receipt and no explanation for the extra ~$75. Still haven’t received a clear breakdown.

To make matters worse, I work remotely and needed to log on briefly during the stay. The Wi-Fi dropped every 5 minutes, making it unusable. I had to rely on my personal hotspot — which barely worked because cell service in the building is terrible.

This place markets itself as a luxury wellness destination. In reality, it’s an overpriced, poorly managed resort with hidden fees, broken amenities, misleading descriptions, and subpar service.

For $2,200 for two nights, this was hands down one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Save your money. There are far better hotels in Miami that won’t nickel-and-dime you while delivering a fraction of what they promise.

Absolutely not worth it.

Rooms dated …first room had to leave electric didn’t work 2nd room ac barley worked and with only 2 days left to stay wasn’t pleasant. The rooms are all dated and the only positives I can take away are good views and every encounter with a staff member was very pleasant.

Really disappointed in this resort. Wouldn't consider it 5 stars at all and likely wouldn't stay there again.

The customer service was non existent -- there was never anyone at the door to help with luggage or carrying things; when we walked in no one acknowledged us or told us where to check in; we called because the tablet in our room was broken and was told a tech would come visit who never arrived.

The facilities were dated, which I could accept, except for they were also dirty. There were mysterious stains all over our room (some looked like blood splatters) and even the roll of paper towels they gave us was filthy on top.

The spa treatment (50 min massage) I received was wonderful -- however, they didn't let me know that the 'service' fee was actually gratuity and I ended up tipping on top of it -- which was also required BEFORE receiving the service.

We tried to order in-suite dining for lunch one day at 3PM were unable to have any food sent to our room; after speaking to 3 different employees, we were told we could go order at the Seaglass Cafe for take away and bring it back up to our room, but couldn't call ahead because they don't have a phone at the cafe.

The fitness center was large and had plenty of nice equipment.

The location was also nice, directly on the beach with easy access to the beachfront walking path.

Hoped for a luxurious trip to enjoy Art Basel & Miami. The hotel staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and the daily breakfast was good. However, the lobby, spa, and guest rooms are in need of major renovation. The lobby furniture was stained and full of boxes of holiday decorations during our four-night stay. A number of amenities at the spa were closed as they were out of working order, and the spa bathroom was not clean. While the suite (318) was spacious with a nice view, there were missing tiles in the bathroom floor, and the kitchen cabinetry needs to be adjusted. With so many Miami Beach luxury hotel options, the Carillon has work to do.

My toilet was broken for four days, and despite repeated requests, no one came to fix it. It was left in this condition the entire time, and the smell of sewage was unbearable. After four days, the only solution offered was to move me to another room — and even then, no one assisted me with the move. This is completely unacceptable.

I came here expecting to relax for 12 days, and this experience was anything but relaxing. I ate breakfast and dinner on-site, and out of roughly 30 meals, only two were prepared correctly on the first try. Nearly every time I went downstairs, I saw other guests complaining as well — clearly this has become the norm.

I later learned that the hotel recently changed management, and since being bought by a new company, the quality of service has significantly declined.

Excellent experience. We truly enjoyed our stay! The spa and other amenities were relaxing and great. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We recently stayed at the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort for the second time, and once again, it absolutely delivered. The resort is stunning, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. Yes, the nightly rate is higher than other hotels along Collins, but the experience makes it worth the difference.

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is also a major plus. You’re close to great restaurants and attractions, and having Publix right across the street is incredibly convenient.

A special thank-you goes to Alessandra, Andrea, and Carlos at the Cabana Pool. Their service was exceptional, and they made sure we were always taken care of.

I first learned about the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort at the Independent Hotel Show in Miami. I was actually headed home to Chicago, but after hearing about their stellar spa experiences, I decided to extend my stay, and I’m so happy I did!

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away. The staff, the modern décor, and my beautiful ocean-view room all set the tone for what turned out to be one of the most restorative trips I’ve ever taken.

I had no idea the Carillon housed the largest spa on the eastern seaboard, and while you can see this from the offerings, it doesn't detract from its serenity. The front desk staff were amazing! They helped me choose just the right treatments without feeling overwhelmed by the extensive menu. As someone with ongoing back pain, one of their touchless experiences was an absolute revelation. *Don't miss these...I intend to spend more time exploring these next visit!

Between beach yoga, a warm ocean dip, outrageously delicious, fresh healthy food, and time spent in the spa’s stunning thermal circuit, I left feeling renewed in every way.

I spent 3 nights at the Carillon Hotel and it was the perfect solo pampering trip. There are so many services to try and enjoy. The front desk staff are exceptional and can help guide you on therapies and treatments if you aren’t sure what they are. Everyone is so friendly, personable and go out of their way to assist you.
