Excellent location + Superb view of the river from the balcony + Very good value for money + Very good breakfast at the nearby Hotel Atlantic + Spacious room + Entrance in the restricted zone to off-load your luggage. BUT you have to go in person and call them afterwards to lower the barrier. Co-ordinate in advance in order to avoid the long walk with luggage from the nearest parking as there is only Public parking high up on the hill, which was FULL
-Very bad mattress and pillow affecting sleep comfort.
-Narrow and worn-out shower cabin.
-Extremely slow and inefficient check with errors. I fully paid upon check-in and got a final invoice ... so, I did NOT like that I was ambushed the next morning at the elevator before going for breakfast, telling me that they did a mistake for the room rate and I should pay extra 300 Czech Koronas (approx 12 EUR). The amount is insignificant and the room was so great that it deserved it , BUT I do not like the approach and I suspect that with their paper print-outs and the chaotic organisation, I was given the room of somebody else, perhaps an upgraded one which had a different rate. Even if it was a genuine mistake, the behavior was unprofessional and for such a small amount you should be able to cover it instead of making a scene in front of other guests.
-Misleading listing in Booking mentioning Parking as "popular facilities" . It does NOT have parking and they re-direct you to a public one up on the hill. They do not even have a collaborating parking with special rates. Therefore the inclusion of "available parking nearby" in hotel features is completely false and a trick to sort-them higher in filtered results. Only a few hotels have reserved parking spots alongside the river on the other side. The proposed parking was FULL and I had to use the one of a luxury hotel even further away with cost of 32 EUR per night
Zentrale Lage
