Chambre confortable, petit-déjeuner, personnel sympatique
Salle de bain fermée par une porte coulissante (absence d'intimité)
Convenient for a quick overnight.
It was hot in the room. There was only the emergency door and didn’t want to leave that open when sleeping- no window. But to be fair, particularly warm day
Good location, well presented and clean.
Was surprised not to have a refrigerator. Could have been better soundproofed (issues with noisy neighbours one night). Pity breakfast wasn’t available earlier - we only got to enjoy it one out of our three days due to early starts.
The continental breakfast was better than we thought it would be with a good selection of pastries, yoghurts, cereals and fruit.
While the hotel advertises itself as dog friendly, that wasn’t our experience. Before arriving, I contacted the hotel to confirm we’d be bringing our dog and was told there would be no additional charge. However, after a 10–15 minute check-in — despite us being the only guests waiting — we were unexpectedly presented with a pet fee and asked to sign a pet policy. I showed the email and told this was automatically generated by booking.com
The staff member checking us in appeared uncomfortable around dogs, which unfortunately made us feel quite unwelcome from the outset. The pet policy itself mostly covered obvious, common-sense expectations, and it gave the impression that pet owners are assumed to be irresponsible, which felt unfair.
The room itself was also unbearably hot. Although it was a warm day, the room seemed poorly ventilated and not equipped to handle the heat comfortably. On top of that, traffic noise from the busy road outside was very noticeable throughout the stay.
Very central and accessible for City transport
All fine
Location to transport network.
There is need to change the mattresses. The breakfast was not proper. All cold meats were pork not good for vegans.
No shower gel.
Perfect location to visit the city.
Nothing, the whole place was terrible.
From the very start it was terrible. When I was driving to the "hotel" I received a call asking for payment. When i explained i was driving they asked me to pull over, which I didn't. When we arrived, we had to call a number to get in the door. They then said they would call me back - which they didn't, I had to call them again. They wouldn't give me the access codes for the room until I paid but even this took some time.
The room itself was small and quite smelly. The shower was worse than useless, It went from hot to freezing cold every few seconds and the towels were tiny. The television would not work and the WIFI kept cutting out.
I cannot believe that some people have actually recommended this place. Other residents we spoke to who were staying there were of the same opinion as ourselves.
Look elsewhere to stay, this place is dreadful.
It was beautiful, clean, comfortable and stylish. Well designed and the traveller was thought about in every space.
I could hear muffled talking and snoring in the next room but appreciate this happens in older period buildings and I’d much rather keep the character. Plus I’ve experienced the same in new-build hotels too so just seems to be something that happens sometimes.
