Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, perched on the cliff walls like all the others. The staff are what put it over the top though, polite and attentive, incredibly helpful setting up local transportation and accommodating us for an extra unexpected day after the ferries were all shut down for the day.

Athina might’ve been a top hotel in the past but it feels small and run down now. We booked a honeymoon suite that was advertised as 40sqm on Expedia but the room was tiny - nowhere near 40sqm; probably less than half that. There were scuff marks everywhere and the bathroom shower floor had stains and a dirty look. At night you can hear the people from above scraping their chairs loudly, enough to wake our baby multiple times. It was not at all worth the price and nowhere near a 5 star stay.

We had the most incredible stay – truly a 10/10 experience! From the moment we arrived, the whole team made us feel like royalty. A huge thank you to the amazing reception team – Efi, Aldo, Kaylee, and Christianna – for their warmth, professionalism, and kindness. They went above and beyond in every way and treated us with so much care.

A special thanks also to Anna, who kept our room spotlessly clean and always with a smile, and to the wonderful breakfast and restaurant staff who made every meal a delight.

The team also played such a special role in helping us celebrate our engagement – something we’ll never forget. On top of that, they showed so much understanding and support during my pregnancy, which made our stay even more comfortable and memorable.

This hotel doesn’t just offer luxury, it offers genuine hospitality. We can’t thank you all enough – we left with full hearts and beautiful memories.

Pros:

We like the property coz of its stunning view of the caldera, especially our Room (Junior Cave suite) with two windows that gave us more a very good view. The only thing that is very disturbing, especially at night are the loud music nearby the hotel. The hotel is very clean, staffs were pleasant, breakfast was very good, prepared at your own liking. Overall, great experience and highly recommended.

Wow !!! I don’t know if I can say enough about this place ! Went here for my honeymoon and from start to finish everything was perfect . I would suggest the comfort package it really will make everything go even smoother . The view and the service can not be beat! 11/10 pool is heated and the breakfast the is included also amazing

Athina Luxury Suites is a fantastic place to stay! Near city center with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. Staff is unbelievably friendly and attentive to all your needs. They help with transportation to and from the airport. Suite was a dream, immaculate. Look forward to visiting again, balcony scenery is gorgeous! Completely recommend it!

Had an incredible stay at this hotel! The staff were amazing—super friendly and attentive. The cave room with a view of the Caldera was breathtaking. The heated infinity pool and jacuzzi were the perfect way to unwind. Highly recommend!

The Athina Hotel was absolutely stunning and the service was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay the most memorable experience in Greece. They even let us stay in their largest suite the last night of our stay which made us feel so special and it was a real treat! Thank you making our stay a dream come true.

Loved everything about this hotel. The pool with the pool bar was awesome. Spent many hours a day there. The view is second to none. The staff is world class. Breakfast on the balcony was second to none. I would return in a heart beat!!
