3. If you want to enjoy the children's meal discount, the guest of the same room (must be 18 years old or above) must join the Shangri-La Club members (hotel members) to enjoy the children's discounts (up to two children per room). You can apply to join the Shangri-La Club when you check in.

Beautiful upscale hotel with fantastic facilities
Pros:

Lovely hotel in central Tainan.. great facilities and accommodating staff.. room upgrade was a nice touch.. views over the city were great.. wellness and fitness facilities were great even by 5 star standard..

Fabulous hotel and a very good price point for a Shangri-La
Pros:

Staff were wonderful from the receptionist to the club staff .
Club room was spacious with plenty of storage and great views

Cons:

The pool furniture was a type jaded and the pool loses the sun from lunchtime .

Overall, the room is nice, and the staff are very helpful.
Pros:

The location is great, the size of the room is amazing very clean and very nice view.

Cons:

The carpet in the room really needs to be updated or replaced; it looks quite old and dirty. Also, they have a designated area for smoking, but we only found out on the last day when we were there because there was no sign indicating a smoking area. That was a bit disappointing, and we hope they will have more signs to show the direction.
