Good location, easy parking, good bar
Clean and comfortable, spacious rooms.
Nice bar area and breakfast was excellent.
In a quite area, plenty of parking
Only recommendation would be a low volume background music/TV in the breakfast room as felt like everyone could hear your conversation..just to create a bit of atmosphere
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast good. Bed comfortable.
Too many steps upstairs and then down some to get to my room, but I am 70 and assume younger people will manage better. However the staff kindly helped with my case.
Location, staff , breakfast all excellent
Nothing
We had a lovely stay, staff very friendly.
Great breakfast
Lovely beer garden beds really comfortable good breakfast
Nothing we didn’t like
A lovely hotel in Hartburn not too far from Stockton Centre. Although we only had breakfast the meals being delivered to the beer garden (which was great) looked very appetising. The breakfast was lovely with a choice of cooked breakfasts and the usual choice of cereal, toast, fruit juice, tea/coffee. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitley return and would recommend to anyone.
Good location & friendly staff, good pub style food.
Overall a bit tired decor wise.
The hotel is nicely located in a quiet residential area and is close to cycling routes. We liked the mini-country house hotel style of the building and the character inside and out. Staff were excellent and helpful.
It should be noted that the bar/restaurant area is set up a s sports bar with several TV screens - however these were showing golf at our visit and were at a very modest volume so there was no difficulty.
Friendly, good food, comfy bed.
Green light in bedroom on all night, (fire escape light) made the room so light, i had to tie a t-shirt over my head to block out the light or o couldn’t sleep.
Great price, great location for us and the restaurant/bar was lovely for an evening meal. Good value for money and staff very nice.
Nothing. Was all good for us
Friendly staff, quite area and comfortable beds
Nothing liked everything
Lovely comfortable room, nice light and airy. Great coffee/tea making facilities. Lovely breakfast, we only stayed one night, as visiting family but would stay again.
My (single) room was lovely with modern decor and a large shower room. Special mention goes to the bed, duvet and pillows which were sooo comfortable, I've taken a photo of the make of the pillow! The bedside lamp didn't work but I reported this the following day. Good to have a proper hairdryer with a plug socket near the mirror. I took advantage of the lunch deal which runs through to 5pm which was great value. There was a choice of buffet and cooked breakfast. They have a large car park.
The communal areas were a little dated but didn't detract from my stay. The hotel has taken measures to deter the pigeons but I had a particularly determined bunch who serenaded me in the early hours, even perching on the fake owl. I'd still stay again though!
Very disappointing. Spoke to reception staff to cancel my booking and was told this was fine as I was within cancellation period. have since been charged and hotel have not responded to any attempts at contact
