A very warm welcome awaits you at The Parkwood. It has everything you need for a short stay.
Pros:

From the moment I arrived the staff were very attentive and helpful. Katie, the Manager, is an absolute gem. The place had a relaxed feeling even though the main bar was busy. Everything was super clean and my room very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast choices were good and the food tasty and wholesome. The hotel has a very large garden with plenty of seating which I used several times during my stay. The hotel was hosting a wake that I was attending. This event was managed with a lot of care, compassion and attention to detail; also the food was excellent.

Cons:

For what I needed, there was nothing not to like.

One night stay.
Pros:

Absolutely loved this overnight stay. We were lucky to stay on a night with live bands. Totally amazing. All quiet by 8pm, settled down and slept like a baby in the comfortable bed. Landlady is fabulous, an absolute credit to her 👏
Smashing meals followed by a full English breakfast, cereal and toast etc.
And to top all this off... dog friendly too!!
What more could we have wanted?
WE WILL BE BACK :)

Cons:

Should have booked two nights :)

Overall a great value and comfortable stay for our needs while attending a wedding at Wynyard Hall
Pros:

Clean and comfortable, spacious rooms.
Nice bar area and breakfast was excellent.
In a quite area, plenty of parking

Cons:

Only recommendation would be a low volume background music/TV in the breakfast room as felt like everyone could hear your conversation..just to create a bit of atmosphere

The hotel was conveniently located and a good price with breakfast included
Pros:

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast good. Bed comfortable.

Cons:

Too many steps upstairs and then down some to get to my room, but I am 70 and assume younger people will manage better. However the staff kindly helped with my case.

Friendly, comfortable and enjoyable.
Pros:

A lovely hotel in Hartburn not too far from Stockton Centre. Although we only had breakfast the meals being delivered to the beer garden (which was great) looked very appetising. The breakfast was lovely with a choice of cooked breakfasts and the usual choice of cereal, toast, fruit juice, tea/coffee. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitley return and would recommend to anyone.

A stylish small country house style hotel.
Pros:

The hotel is nicely located in a quiet residential area and is close to cycling routes. We liked the mini-country house hotel style of the building and the character inside and out. Staff were excellent and helpful.

Cons:

It should be noted that the bar/restaurant area is set up a s sports bar with several TV screens - however these were showing golf at our visit and were at a very modest volume so there was no difficulty.
