Location was really good!

Virkelig godt Hotel med central beliggenhed. Værelset ( nærmest en lejlighed) i upåklagelig stand og med alt hvad hjertet kan begære. Glimrende morgenmads buffet og minibar. Alt i alt et 5 stjernet ophold

Great atention and room

Hvor skal jeg starte. Vi ankom på hotellet mandag og sov der til onsdag også selvom det var planlagt at sove der til fredag. Men det var simpenhelt så forfærdeligt at være på værelserne når det udenfor er 33 grader. Det var ingen aircondition, kun en lille blæser, badeværelses blæseren larmede også selvom der var lukket dør, rummet var lille og rigtig varmt. vores udsigt fra rum 2, var et stillads med håndværkere som arbejde fra kl 08 - 17 hver dag, og larmede voldsomt med en borhammer. Hotellet i sig selv er heller ikke i særlig god stand, trapperne føles nemme at glide ned af da de er skrå, og lad mig da slet ikke snakke om morgenmaden. Røræggene var slimede og grå og meget slatne; brødet så ud til at have stået for længe og pandekagerne var meget hårde at skære fra hinanden og smagte lidt ligesom gummi. Der var så støvet på værelset under sengene lå store nullermænd, der var spind i loftet. Under de 3 dage vi var der blev der ikke gjort rent hverken på toilet eller værelse sengetøjet blev ikke skiftet selv om der var åbenlys beskidt, brugte glas blev ikke fjernet. Receptionisten var det eneste højdepunkt som var rigtig sød, og hjalp med at finde transport muligheder rundt i byen. Vi valgte hotellet fordi de fik så gode anmeldelser men må sige at jeg kunne ikke genkende noget af det folk skrev om.

Die Lage ist fantastisch, in kurzer Zeit (<15 Minuten) kann man nahezu überall in Prag sein, sei es zu Fuß oder mit der Bahn. Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet und das Personal sehr aufmerksam.
Insbesondere Daniel möchte ich hervorheben, der uns sehr sympathisch bei Rückfragen beraten hat.
Ich kann das Golden Key nur Wärmsteins weiterempfehlen

Reception staff were excellent. Friendly and very helpful. The bed in our room was extremely comfortable. The shower pressure was fantastic and the bathroom had my favourite l’Occitaine products. Our room was on the lower ground floor which had access to a private garden area. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The location near the castle was perfect. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, clean, staff was friendly, walking distance to everything, only a few blocks from the tram to the airport. most importantly, the mattresses were super soft, which is important for me. It was convenient and the free breakfast was awesome not boring continental but full on hot food.

Prima gelegen direkt unterhalb der Burg. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in unmittelbarer Fussnähe erreichbar.
Zimmer sauber und gemütlich. Große Auswahl beim Frühstück. Personal freundlich und kompetent.

It's the second time I stay at the Golden Key hotel and I totally recommend it. It's a very charming and clean place, the breakfast is very good and the rooms are amazingly comfortable. It's beautiful and very well located, just a few minutes away from the Castle and from the hill and also from Charles' bridge, which leads you to the Old town.

Beautiful building, welcoming and very helpful staff. Breakfast choices were lovely and plentiful every day. Location spot-on, central to all places of interest. Felt at home very quickly..always a good sign. Would definitely stay again!

We had a junior suite which was very decently accommodated (room 13). Plenty of space and a very good sized bathroom/wc as well. Service and check in were pretty faultless and the hotel is also very well positioned for most of the major attractions in Prague. Only issues were that we found the lighting in the bedroom to be a bit on the dim side. The only other area which I think could be improved is the breakfast. While there's a really good choice of cold food stuffs and good coffee/tea making facilities, the hot food in the steamer was somewhat lacking - rather poor quality, anemic looking frankfurter sausages - and the supply of hot food would sometimes run out. On our first morning we arrived just after 9.30 and there was almost no bacon left and the beans were finished. We asked for the latter to be replenished, although got the impression this wouldn't have happened automatically given that breakfast service ended at 10.00am. Also, the heater wasn't particularly efficient at keeping food warm. Given the cost of rooms at the hotel I would have expected eggs that eggs would have been available to order from the kitchen. All told, a very good experience overall, with some potential for improvement. I'm unsure as to whether we would stay at the Golden Key again, although we found the staff to be friendly whenever we met them.

Very centrally located hotel close to Charles Bridge. Many convenience stores and shops in same street. We arrived early for check-in and luckily room was available. Lovely spacious room on ground floor with patio access and very clean. Grateful for friendliness and warm welcome. Caring receptionist arranged for packed breakfast due to early departure next day and being tea drinkers we were provided with a tea pot and tea bags. Coffee maker available in room.

En 3 noches que estuvimos alojados no nos cambiaron las toallas ni limpiaron la habitación...para ser un 4 estrellas es un poco decepcionante.

I had some issues with the light, but the stuff is friendly and location is amazing. The bathroom was a little dirty, overall not bad

Cute hotel and in an excellent location

Very pleasant stay, our room was big and comfortable, the whole hotel is both clasic and modern, the location is great. The whole area is a little expensive but you can reach all best tourist attractions on foot!
