Gently renovated so the materials were new, but it’s apparent that the renovations were done on the cheap. Unsanded drywall painted over, trim hanging loose.
Also, Luke warm water in all faucets; they must have the water heaters turned down.
No coffee maker, or microwave, anything; but a counter and sink designed for it.
They advertise breakfast but that amounted to watery coffee and a bowl of apples on the counter.
The owners live in the hotel in a room off the lobby so that’s weird.
We were excited to stay at the newly renovated hotel. However, we were very disappointed. One main reason we stayed there was for free breakfast. There was nothing available. My room didn’t have any towels, soap, or shampoo. The shower had no pressure nor hot water. Very very disappointed. I know they just renovated and opened but if you are going to open, you need to have the things you are advertising.
Newly renovated and clean room. Front desk help was great.
Hotel was closed, ended up sleeping in my truck!
The whole experience was baffling. Online, it looked fairly decent and just what I needed for a simple, one night stay. On the booking, it said check in was at 3pm. I tried to go to the front desk to check in, only to find it was locked with no one answering the front desk phone. There were no signs of when the front desk person would be back or where they went. Called the number again, and was transferred to a national hotline where the representative tried to call the front desk, and then the manager, with no response. Since there were no other OYO locations in the area, I had to find a different hotel last minute, and may or may not get a refund since the issue was to be escalated and reviewed after 24-48 hours. Would not recommend, entire process stressful and unprofessional.
Clean rooms comfortable pillow top beds and they have HBO and the Cinemax channels.
Makes you wanna puke Room 107
This was easily the worst motel I have ever stayed in. The room smelled like pet urine. The carpets were stained. The blankets had cigarette burn holes in them. The towels were stained and frayed. When I opened up the refrigerator two roaches scurried out.
This motel room was a great price, however that was the only thing great about it. The room was dirty and the carpet wet. The curtains had filth all over it and the sheets looked dirty. The bathroom floor was very creaky and there was no trash cans. The towels had dog hair all over them. I had to get back into the dirty shower to rinse off again and use my clothes to dry off. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff was very nice and friendly.
There was nothing even fair about the place. Floors where so dirty it would make your feet black with dirt. Children and adults making all kinds of noise late into the night. Even at $56 a night, it wasn't worth $20.
The hotel is an antique, however the room was clean and the staff were helpful…I would stay here again 😊
Our employees arrived onsite to check in and there were notices on all room doors stating they were have extermination services being done while guests were staying there. Our employees refused to stay.
I ended up not staying at the hotel. I was told by family that is was full of bedbugs. That the contractors had a lot of problems.
It was over booked and I didn't stay. I slept on the floor in a classroom with no A/C. Pathetic.
They had terrible service.
Dirty under the bed found medication pills
Carpet was disgusting. In serious need of remodeling.
The property is nothing like the photos and description indicates. The A/C didn’t function, the toilet paper holder was torn off the wall, there was a bottle of bleach under the sink, the door lock was broken, the carpet was creepy sticky, we booked a king but were given two queens (“the last room”). I could go on. We are not finicky but there are better places to stay in this area. We booked two nights and left after one.
The room I stayed in didn't have a secure lock. The toilet seat didn't fit the rest of the toilet. Pillows smelled & room was dirty. I stayed two nights ..my bedding didn't get changed nor did I receive new towels.
They canceled a paid in advance reservation and came up with a different reason three different times, when asked why they were canceling my reservation..? Then they called my ticket number a no-show, they said we didn't show up, trying to make us a non-refundable.
