The room was clean and a good size.
The hotel was a 25 minute walk from the airport and there is very little near it. The worst part was the shuttle. Technically there’s a shuttle, but the shuttle runs from 7 AM to 11 AM. How does that help? If I had a flight that left within that timeframe I still would’ve stayed in Hobart. You stay at an airport hotel when you have a very late arrival or an early departure. That’s when they need their shuttle.

We stayed here because we were coming in late, it was close to the airport and it advertised an airport shuttle. However, when we arrived there was no airport shuttle, when we tried to get an uber, no one would pick up the booking due to it being 1.5 KMs from the hotel, taxis would not take us the short fare and it was too far with our luggage and unsafe to walk given the lack of pedestrian access. We rang the hotel who just said there was no shuttle service available and would not help us at all. The taxi drivers quoted $50 and in the end after speaking to several taxi drivers we found one who was prepared to bargain down to $30. Upon arrival there was a rude staff member who didn't care. The room was extremely basic and it was right on the road with highway noise and bright street lights. To top it off, there was a large sign in the foyer when we checked out advertising their airport shuttle. Will never stay here again. We weren't the only guests who had issues in this regard.
Breakfast was well presented and delicious. The room was clean and adequate, nice mural along the wall above bed.
Hotel has a tired feel about it, dirty windows (on outside) overlooking pallets of rubbish was less than ideal. Restaurant closed at 1945 and we arrived at 1920 so little time to choose. Dinner was very average although staff member was kind and obliging.

Loved the staff, they were friendly, happy and very helpful. We had tea there and it was very good.
The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable.
The noise of the heating / air con was appalling. We had a very early flight to catch and only managed to get 1/2 hrs sleep because of it.

Estancia muy decepcionante. Ha sido el primer hotel de nuestro viaje por Tasmania y, sinceramente, nos ha dejado una pésima primera impresión.
La habitación estaba sucia y descuidada: la cortina tenía agujeros, la moqueta estaba visiblemente sucia y la calefacción no funcionaba en absoluto, algo especialmente molesto teniendo en cuenta las temperaturas. La cama supletoria, un sofá cama, tenía los muelles completamente hundidos y se clavaban en la espalda durante toda la noche, fue imposible descansar.
No entiendo cómo este establecimiento puede ostentar una categoría de cuatro estrellas. El estado general de las instalaciones correspondería, como mucho, a un hotel de dos estrellas. La experiencia no estuvo, ni de lejos, a la altura de lo que se anuncia ni de lo que se paga.
No lo recomendaría y esperamos que esta reseña sirva para que futuros huéspedes sepan a qué atenerse.
