E' stato esattamente come lo cercavo: rilassante
Pros:

La vista panoramica sulle colline, la tranquillità dell'essere immersi nel verde. La possibilità di fare colazione in giardino. Il salottino per rilassarsi bevendo qualcosa di fresco e il ristorante che ti permette di cenare senza doverti allontanare dall'hotel.

Cons:

Il personale di sala non parla bene l'italiano, sicuramente parla bene altre lingue visto che l'hotel ospita turisti internazionali. Per noi non è stato un problema e credo non lo sia in generale, ma forse può essere un limite per ospiti un po' più anziani.

Soggiorno incantevole in villa d’epoca

L'hotel si trova in una villa d’epoca con un parco meraviglioso, a circa 3 km dal centro di Siena. C'è un giardino e una terrazza che, sebbene fosse ancora un po’ freddo durante il nostro soggiorno, promettono momenti incantevoli; il semplice panorama fa già sognare. La nostra camera aveva un piccolo soggiorno al piano inferiore e, al piano superiore, una zona notte su una sorta di soppalco; lo spazio era molto accogliente. La colazione era buona e varia, e il personale sempre disponibile e cortese. Avremmo voluto restare più a lungo!

Cons:

L’hotel non è nuovissimo, quindi qualche aggiornamento, ad esempio delle finestre, potrebbe rendere il soggiorno ancora più confortevole nei mesi freddi; comunque, ci siamo sentiti davvero a nostro agio.

Traditional/ old fashioned hotel with lovely views over Siena
Pros:

A nostalgic trip for us as we had a memorable stay way back in 1999. Same spectacular view of Siena from the bedroom that we remembered from our previous visit. Very comfortable bedroom with high quality bedding. We had two nice dinners in the hotel restaurant… although given the relatively limited menu we ended up eating the same food both nights.
The staff were nice.

Cons:

Little appeared to have changed in the 27 years since our previous visit… could benefit from some updating.
No tea/ coffee making facilities in the room.
Understaffed… so if dinner is being served no real chance of getting a drink at the bar.
The repeated notices warning about outside food and drinks being prohibited and penalties for breaking this rule was off putting… especially given given that you couldn’t even get a biscuit if you ordered a cup of tea ( and they ran out of English tea after one day… fortunately I was not penalised for using my own tea bag).

Very beautiful location. The hotel looks great, there are some great views from the garden. The hotel kept its architectural structure and the furniture as well.

This property was a great find, just outside Siena- beautiful and peaceful!
Pros:

The property was amazing! We loved the beautiful gardens and the peace and quiet. Our room was very nice and overlooked the rose garden. The staff was very friendly, and the food was very good at breakfast and dinner.

Superbe endroit, personnel bien, restau perfectible.
Pros:

Chic un peu suranné pour cet établissement, mais c’est ce qui en fait le charme.
Très joli jardin, piscine très agréable, personnel courtois et alerte, lit extrêmement confortable.
A l’écart de la ville avec ce que cela comporte de calme et en même temps… d’éloignement.
Un séjour agréable et reposant. Le restaurant n’est pas exceptionnel et le petit déjeuner correct mais sans plus.
Un très joli endroit donc qui pourrait être absolument parfait si le côté culinaire était plus soigné.

Cons:

Restaurant pas incroyable. Salle de bain un tantinet perfectible.
