Sea view was beautiful
Pros:

When we first got there the room wasn't really up to standard or what was advertised,when we complained about it the staff were very helpful and gave us an upgrade. The amenities were good, gorgeous sea view

Cons:

Although the hotel has a private beach, you still pay for the sun loungers and umbrella around €60 per day for 2 people, which I found that ridiculous,but apparently there is normal. The other thing they don't advertise before booking is you have to climb around 300+stairs to get to road level. They let you know that after you book the hotel.

Gorgeous views at a beautiful resort on the sea
Pros:

Easily accessible right off the ferry. Hôtel provides a porter while you walk 10 minutes through gorgeous cliffs, trees and observe picturesque views. Property is gorgeous with flowers, trees, a coy pond and stunning unblocked views of the sea. Calm and quiet at night with a private beach club.

The view from our room was breathtaking. Truly paradise.

Cons:

Our balcony was above the area where a wedding took place. It was difficult to get rest with the noice from the guests celebrating the ceremony.

Wonderful!
Pros:

Location was great right on the beach, but very challenging for older people as you need to walk up any place you go to get a taxi. Breakfast was good, preferred the paid omlettes. Staff was super friendly and helpful!!

Cons:

There is a smell from the toliets and shower that is moldy. The beds are not super comfortable or cozy.

The best in Positano!
Pros:

Hotel Pupetto is where you want to stay in Positano. Directly on the beach, with beach access - what’s more to ask. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful - even shipping something to us that we left after our stay. You need to stay at this exquisite property.

Great Retreat!
Pros:

We had a top notch experience here! After hiking the via Francigena for 3 weeks and 260 miles, we chose to treat ourselves and rest in Positano at Hotel Pupetto. It did not disappoint! Call ahead for bag porter from the uphill road (Positano has no car friendly roads to hotels.) The room was spacious, clean and comfortable at sea level. Our bed had a foam topper, so nice after weeks of Italian hard mattresses. We loved the beach, although a typical rocky European beach, it was refreshing. But the meals were amazing! A pizza made with zucchini cream as sauce and zucchini chips on top of luxurious cheese - divine. Dinner included a surprise gratis scallop appetizer on a pumpkin sauce and dessert was topped with a gratis platter of sweet treats!!! The receptionist gave great advice on the ferries, which often get cancelled for weather, and on hikes. We appreciate that this hotel/restaurant/beach club is at the quiet north end of Positano. It’s a fairly easy walk to the southern end with loud music, touristy restaurants and lots of shopportunities. Just be prepared for Italian indifference everywhere in Italy: know some Italian words, they speak a lot of English, but service is often cool and efficient, not cozy and chummy. It’s all good!!!
