The Ambassade Hotel will reserve an amount on your credit card equivalent to 1 night to guarantee the reservation. This amount will be shown on your credit card statement. Only if a nonrefundable reservation is made, the charges shall be done immediately by the hotel.

The small attic room we got was unbearrable hot that it shoud not be used under any circumstances. temperatures over
30 oC pose serious health risk. Hotel's profits are important but guests's comfort shoud matter too.

Hotel Ambassade is fantastic! My room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and featured a firm yet very comfortable bed. The front desk team: Iris, Isa, Laura, Jasper, Ewout, and Wim deserve special recognition. They were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making my stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel's location is another major highlight. It is centrally situated, with all the main attractions just a short walk away. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The Hotel Ambassade is a lovely hotel with very accommodating staff. My 76 yo partner is not able to climb steep staircases and we needed a room in the main hotel with a lift. Jasper so kindly responded to my inquiry and said they would reserve a room to accommodate our request. He even noticed that our scheduled arrival time was extremely early and explained the hotel policy for early check-in. We paid a small amount for priority cleaning so the room would be ready by 1pm. We were in our room by 10:30a and after an 8 hour red-eye flight we were very grateful, to say the least. George greeted us at check-in and was kind, professional and welcoming. He explained in detail what the hotel had to offer guests, mapped out landmarks in the surrounding area, stored our luggage until the room was ready and was just an all around terrific person with great energy.
The superior deluxe canal view room was clean and beautiful. We would stay here again and highly recommend the hotel to friends and family.
The only thing we didn’t like was the poor service at the hotel restaurant one morning. Sasha, a server in the restaurant completely ignored us. She took the orders of everyone who was seated before and after us and never acknowledged our presence until I asked for her name. The restaurant was not crowded and there was no way she mistakenly overlooked our table. This didn’t sit well with us and we never returned to the restaurant for another meal. We had breakfast there when we first arrived and dinner the night before this incident. Perhaps she needs to be trained to acknowledge all customers seated in her section rather than making some customers invisible to her.
