Please note that the listing of this hotel is that there is parking on site. This means there is paid metered parking out the front of the hotel on the main road, like every other main road in the area. If you are expecting to park at the hotel, they do not provide those facilities. The nearest secure parking costs €60 per night. I ended up having to park at the convention centre 3km away which cost me €55 for two nights.

Not being able to get a coffee if you're up early. This really sucked. I was here for a sports competition and being refused coffee on the morning really messed up my routine.
I was up early on the second morning and the lovely member of staff happily made me a coffee even though it was early.
Morning 3, 'no coffee until 7.30' . Yes it's 7am, yes the coffee machine is right next to us but no, no coffee for you.

In a good location, at walking distance from the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijks Museum. The city centre is a bit far away, with about 40 minutes to Dam Square and nearly 60 minutes to the Central Station. However, the place is well connected by public transport, with the bus 24 dropping you at both places in a much shorter time. Except for a couple of pubs, there is not much around, being in a residential area, hence you may want to buy any water or food in town before heading back to the hotel. The hotel is clean and the personnel friendly. There is a bar with a common area on the ground floor, and rooms and bathrooms at the upper floors. The facilities are clean and the capsules gives you good privacy. Wifi available, and the air conditioning is a big plus. Ideal for a short stay.
The place is fairly small, there is not much storage. If you travel with much luggage, then you may need to discuss storage in advance with the property. Due to space constraints, there is a limited number of showers or bathrooms per floor.

These pods are very cute. Exceptionally clean and lots of lovely little touches.
The location is great right beside the van gough museum and directly beside a tram stop. Its very private once you are in your pod and there are great facilities. Very secure.

You get what you pay for! Its a pod so it is cramped .. low ceiling etc. But this didn't bother me too much.. for some people this may be an issue
Across street from bus stop to airport. Was staying one night in Amsterdam prior to flight next morning. Had a bar in lobby. Bathrooms/Showers were clean.
