The location was great however the area is pretty dirty!

Cons:

Few staffs were nice. The elevation didn’t always work. I was traveling with little kids and we waited for 30 mins but it still didn’t arrived. We told the front desk staff a lady who continued flirting with a man and completely ignored when I said we have been waiting for a long time. Ended up taking stairs 4 floors up and those stairs are not normal. They are weird and not the safest. It does get noisy out and you will see lot of homeless people right in front of the hotel. Also, the neighborhood is very dirty.
The best part is the location. Everything from food to shopping is around the neighborhood and the tram connects you to central station that takes you everywhere.

Be wary of the High City Taxes
Pros:

We spent 4 nights in the Nova during late June. The room was a reasonable size, clean and in good decorative order but had no air conditioning during the hottest day of the year in Amsterdam. A small table fan was provided but it didn't really help. Luckily we were at the rear of the building so could open our windows away from the noise of traffic and trams at the front. We found it odd that there were no drawers whatsoever in the the room to put socks and underwear, just some shelves, one of which housed the safe and another the hairdryer and hotel info. Equally no shelves in the bathroom upon which to put personal toiletries. We did find the area around the hotel to be scruffy with rubbish strewn everywhere and while the hotel management cannot be held responsible for that, it did make us question the level of City Tax which is charged, partly for keeping the streets clean. We were aware that there would be a local tax to pay upon arrival but thought that it would be a couple of euros per person per night. We were shocked to be charged Euro 98.76 (£90.23) for a 4 night stay. Despite the fantastic location, we wouldn't stay there again.

Asansör var. Odalar temiz ve büyüktü. Kahvaltısı güzeldi. Konumu dam meydanına 2 dk yürüme mesafesinde önünden tramvay geçiyor.

Cons:

Klima olmaması kötü oldu.Odamız arka tarafa bakıyordu karşımızdaki pencerede sürekli sigara içen biri vardı yaz akşamı pencereler açık olduğu için adamın içtiği tüm maddenin kokusu bizim odaydı o rahatsız ediciydi.
