Gute Lage. Frühstück war gut.
Zimmer im 3.Stock nur mit sehr engen und steilen Treppen erreichbar. Die Ausstattung sehr minimal. Matratzen zu weich und die Betten beim Doppelbett rutschen auseinander. Kein Kühlschrank, keine Minibar. Das Fenster war zwischen den beiden Etagen, somit weder unten noch oben sichtbar aus dem Fenster.
Je recommande ! Emplacement idéal, personnel très agréable

I liked that the beds and pillow were really comfy and it was a good location, close to the city centre
The room absolutely stunk of dead rats a lot of the time. There was no bedside table or bin in the room. But the worst thing was that my safety was compromised. The male receptionist who checked me in, checked my passport and my booking, could see how long I was staying for and that I was by myself - yet he conveniently forgot that he had allocated me that room when he barged into my room uninvited at 10;30pm while I was in my nightclothes in bed. This was unacceptable- he didn’t even knock, just used his key card to enter my room, claiming it was an accident ‘looking for an extra pillow’ when this doesn’t add up because he checked me into that specific room (wrote it down as well) 24hrs prior to this. I didn’t see him again since this happened. It was lucky I recognised him otherwise I would’ve reached for something to use as a weapon to defend myself. I was seriously disappointed that not only this happened but they didn’t even offer me compensation when I’d complained about this incident and had 3 out of my 4 nights completely ruined, feeling very vulnerable and unsafe. It also didn’t help he also put me in a basement room and as a young solo female traveller whose had this happened to them, it made me feel incredibly insecure in my room. I actually locked my door and put my suitcase in front but this didn’t help my piece of mind after this incident. As I explained, I could’ve been sat on the toilet when he came in or naked while changing. This was highly inappropriate, ruined my stay and I would actually like some compensation for this incident as I’d paid for 4 nights sleep and didn’t even sleep much for 3 of them because of this incident.
It was easy to get to from the station and central to the main visitor area.
The room could do with a refresh however it was clean and comfortable.

Posizione strategica, l'hotel è piuttosto vicino a piazza Dam (facilmente raggiungibile a piedi) in circa 15/20 minuti e alla stazione di Amsterdam Central.
Nelle camere sarebbe utile una finestra all'interno del bagno o, per lo meno, una ventola, per far circolare l'aria ed evitare l'odore di chiuso.

The location was great just a few mins walk from the central station, the room was small and cosy. . The little shower room was clean, the little room was clean and if sleeping here alone the little bed would have been comfortable. Breakfast had all the basics, boiled eggs, juice, cereal and toast.
Although the description said "free child place for up to 6 years" there was no place for the 5 year old to sleep, not even floor space or a little sofa, he had to squidge in the very small double bed which meant no-one had any sleep, the view from the room was of a peeled wall, when I stood at reception to ask a question the hotel manager was on the phone and waved me away. Apologies for thinking reception is where I asked questions. I was only stood waiting not talking!

Kunne hatt kaffemaskinen tilgjengelig for gjestene - ikke bare til frokost.
