Staff and food.
It really saddens me to write negatively about this hotel. We stay in nairn and visit frequently for a lunch and since finding this (till now) little gem we also have had quite a few overnight stays. We had booked from 20th-22nd of January 2026 obviously for a two night stay, we arrived at aporox 4.15 pm on 20th, the room was frozen and had not remotely got warmer going down for dinner at 6.30, we made staff aware (who where wonderful) they gave us another room, it was warmer, however once we where settled in new room for what was left of the evening I realised because I don't keep well that having being in the previous cold room had made me very ill, no sleep that night I realised in the morning we had to go home, barely able to eat anything at breakfast to take medications and we checked out thereafter at approx 9.15am, so we where unable to enjoy the full day we had planned there, as well as another night and breakfast that we paid for but could not stay to enjoy, to say we are disappointed is the very least, we get that hotel need to keep expenses to a minimum, room temperature on low hoping guests won't put it up etc, but to be put in a room that even with thermostat up to it's highest and the room didn't heat up any in two hours we feel fails badly on the responsibility you have to your guests. For us very expensive and not very enjoyable 15 hours.
It's our fourth visit so you can tell we enjoy visiting the hotel.
We had no problems
Very well situated, staff friendly and food excellent
Breakfast excellent.. location convenient in the town and for sightseeing
We had a room at front of hotel with a lot of road noise
The food was excellent, breakfast and evening meals. Would highly recommend this hotel for food. The scones looked really good, but we did not partake as we were out (mid-day)
We are used to 5 star hotels, but this was quite adequate for what it was and the location.
Room was great, food great value and the staff can’t do enough.
Everything
Staff were exception from checking in to leaving.friendly engaging and helpful. Room was good size and very clean. Restaurant produced excellent dinner and breakfast
Better TV would have been good but not a deal breaker
Es war ein gutes Hotel
Good location with parking outside. Food was really good.
The layout is poor. Based on the number of people, it lacked atmosphere, particularly in the lounge. Really there should be a separate bar in the lounge and be made cosier.
Staff & location where great.
Nothing to comment on
Spacious room and comfortable bed. Very good breakfast. Also had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent.
Would have preferred a bath - and the bathroom probably had one until recently.
This is a delightful hotel in the centre of Beauly. It is next to Beauly Priory (obviously) with a variety of small shops and cafes right on hand. The room was large, comfortable and very well equipped. The lift was well positioned next to a side door, convenient for loading and unloading.
