It is located in the best spot in the middle of nothing. Refurbished bathroom was extraordinary. Nice breakfast.
Room smelled boiled eggs. No AC unit. Provided a desk fan was noisy and not good enough. Menu choices expensive and a poor value for money.
Almost all the staff were very friendly. The more mature women were really helpful and kind, going the extra mile but you get staff hadn’t been trained to know anything about good customer relations, how to speak to paying guests appropriately, or how to answer little enquiries.
The decor on the room was tired and not very comfortable. There were 2 pillows on a superior double bed, and no cushions or colour anywhere on the room. It looked dull and tired, Alex Polizzi would have had a field day advising how to cheer it up and make it value for money at £200 a night!
As always the staff were absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much bother for them in spite of being very busy. I think (but don't know for sure) that the hotel was fully booked during my stay.
Also meals and other refreshments (coffee lounge) were available to the general public. The Sunday carvery and evening high teas and dinners were very popular with the local population and visitors and tourist trade too.
I can think of anything that I didn't like
Good location for a visit to Loch-ness, Inverness and northern excursion.
Price-quality ratio is correct.
