Olympic Village Hotel & Spa exceeded our expectations! The pool area is lovely, the bar service is quick and friendly, and the entire property feels well cared for. The bed was very comfortable and blackout curtains ensured a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was a highlight. It’s ideal for couples or families looking for a peaceful, authentic Greek getaway.
The hotel is in a great spot, close to the archaeological sites but still quiet and relaxing. The staff were attentive and kind, helping us with local recommendations and even arranging transport. Everything was smooth, easy, and enjoyable from start to finish. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious with locally sourced ingredients. Staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. Would stay again.
I loved the peaceful setting of this hotel. The rooms were large, modern, and spotless, with beautiful views of the garden. It’s the perfect place to unwind after exploring the ancient ruins. Everything about the stay felt calm and comfortable.
Our stay at Olympic Village Hotel & Spa was pure relaxation! The pool was spotless, the spa treatments were rejuvenating, and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The location is perfect, just minutes from Ancient Olympia. Can’t wait to return next summer!
Spotless hotel! Cleaning standards were impressive. Every member of staff we interacted with was attentive and polite. The buffet breakfast was varied and refilled often. The hotel receptionist helped plan a private guided half-day tour of the archaeological site which was seamless. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed the spa facilities and booked a massage that was excellent. Professional therapists and a soothing environment. Rooms had very comfortable beds which made our stay extra restorative. Staff were discrete and polite. A top pick for relaxation near Ancient Olympia.
Loved the pool area, loungers and umbrellas were plentiful and the water was clean and refreshing. The on-site restaurant serves tasty Greek dishes; the moussaka and grilled fish were highlights. Portions generous and service attentive. A wonderful, relaxing stay.
From check-in to check-out the staff were exceptionally friendly. They welcomed us with cold water after a long drive and assisted with luggage. The housekeeping team kept our room immaculate. We appreciated the local tips and the sincere hospitality made our trip to Olympia much more enjoyable.
Great family-friendly hotel. Our kids loved the pool and there was plenty of space around it to relax. The family room was roomy and beds were comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent and the pool bar served refreshing snacks. The staff treated our children kindly and even offered a late check-out. Excellent value for money!
We stayed three nights and couldn’t have been happier. The hotel is a short, pleasant walk to the archaeological site which made early-morning visits easy and peaceful. Room was spacious, spotless and had a lovely balcony. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were warm and efficient, they booked a taxi for us and recommended a fantastic taverna. The pool and gardens are well maintained. Breakfast buffet had plenty of fresh options. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ancient Olympia.
I would no recommend - staff & food are both mediocre at best. Bath tub is disgustingly dirty. Only positive is the A/C worked
Stayed here 1 night as part of a tour. We arrived around 7:30 pm, hot and third from a long day.. The staff at reception was not friendly or helpful. I arrived at the desk first in my group but because I wanted to pay the hotel tax with a credit card was left standing while she dealt with others behind me. The room was very stark, plain white walls with no pictures, a bed and a desk. It was clean but very uninviting. The shower had a strange wire multi armed thing holding the shower curtain that refused to remain open. Consequently the bathroom was sprayed with water when I showered. The buffet dinner was poor with most of the food looking dried out and overcooked. Although I went to breakfast shortly after it opened, the food was cold and unappetizing. Definitely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and not deserving of the 4 star rating we were told it had.
Tutto ok
What a hidden gem don’t let the outside for you. Very accommodating staff and a beautiful renovated room. A short walk to the original Olympic village and beach area.
Great place to stay in Olympia. We stayed here recently, very comfortable rooms, great breakfast. We had the buffet dinner it was a good selection of food. The room was clean and comfortable. Is recommended it if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Olympia
Pool closed way too early, we were not even able to enjoy it. Very small room with 3 twin beds crammed in. No in-room fridge to keep food/drinks cold. Said laundry service was available but there actually was none when we got there…..good thing we each had one more pair of underwear. Spa service includes only one masseuse and only during limited hours, so not much help here either. I will say the beds were comfortable, the room was quiet and they put together a decent breakfast in the morning.
One nice thing about this hotel is that the room is spacious. But it goes downhill from here. The bathtub has a glass door that only covers half the size of the tub, not to mention the fact that the seal is broken on the glass door. So when you take a shower, there is water all over the floor of the bathroom afterwards. Buffet dinner has a good amount of choices but the quality was so-so. Dessert choices were the among the worst I have seen. The orange slices were sour. The loquats tasted bad. For the rest of the dessert offering, forget about sinful temptations. There were none.
Sejour culturel fantastique.
Tres bien.
Bon hôtel qui accepte les chiens.
Séjour fantastique et tres reposant. Belle expérience je recommande sans soucis.
We arrived as part of a tour group. There was a pool but we had no time for a swim. The room was very spacious with double bed and single bed.
The bathroom had a small bath with shower over. A bit tricky to keep the floor dry. Large vanity.
Buffet dinner was included but Bain Marie was not hot and food was only warm. Good variety of food.
This is the only hotel so far to provide gluten free bread for breakfast.
Easy walk into the village and atms and supermarket.
