Locanda le Boscarecce

I went traveling with my son and from day 1 we were met with great hospitality. Susanna and Massimo were great hosts. We stayed for dinner twice and would have stayed every night for dinner if possible. The only thing is that you would need a car because it would be difficult with mass transportation.
A must stay!!

Excellent hosts, great views , great food. Will be going back!

Beautiful place

Accès surprenant car situé très loin des routes,donc calme absolu. Propriété très bien entretenue .Chambre vaste et confortable
Propriétaires charmants et aux petits soins avec nous Dîner et petit déjeuner excellents et très copieux dans une pergola ouverte sur une vue magnifique.
Situation non loin de Florence,Sangimignano ,Pise, Lucca …..
À conseiller à ceux qui veulent sortir des sentiers battus.

Everything about our stay with Susanna in their amazing property was amazing! Susanna and her family were incredible hosts providing us with recommendations for even before we arrived and every dinner we ate was fantastic - the pizza night is not to be missed! The room was large, clean and well air-conditioned. We enjoyed using the pool and playing tennis there too. The villa is well located to Castelfiorentino (up some windy roads) which made it easy to get to Florence, San Gimignano and Pisa.
We will definitely be back!

Excellent hosts and hospitality. Beautiful location. If you don't have a car or other own transport you will be using a lot of taxis. Highly recommended.

Hervorragende ruhige Anlage mit grandioser Aussicht. Tennisplatz (nicht profigeeignet aber völlig ok). Pool (Wassertiefe 1,40) sehr gepflegt. Perfekter Sonnenuntergang beim Abendessen. Leckeres Abendessen-Angebot täglich. Sehr freundliche Hotelbesitzerin mit perfekten Englischkenntnissen. Perfekter Urlaub.

Dejligt sted med fin udsigt over de Toscanske bakker. God og veltilberedt mad af de sødeste værter Suzanna og Massimo. Vi blev super godt behandlet og stedet emmer af en lille tidslomme, hvor man kan slappe af og glemme alt for en tid.
Pris og sted hører fint sammen.
Dog skal nævnes den ca. 1,5 km grusvej op til stedet der er meget ujævn.

Lovely little b&b, beautiful surroundings and lovely host. Couldn't have asked for anything more!

We stayed three nights at this beautiful small hotel because it was near Florence, but in the countryside. Once we were at the hotel, however, we didn't want to leave. Everywhere we could look were golden landscapes with rolling hills on which were hay fields and vineyards. The common areas were full of flowers and shaded seating. The breakfast was delicious. The pool was cool and appreciated in the hot afternoons. You simply have to see this place to appreciate it. The room was large and so was the bathroom. We had a small kitchen with table and chairs. The windows were shuttered, giving it an old world feel. Sleeping was quiet and excellent. Suzanna, the hostess, was uncommonly helpful and spoke English fluently. She helped us to find the train station in Castelfiorentino and gave to us numerous other small tips for sightseeing and so forth. We hope to return again in the near future. Do not miss this place if you prefer country hotels to those in cities. This place is a gem!

It's tempting not to talk about this place because I'm afraid that if word gets out we'all never be able to get a reservation again. Le Boscarecce is heaven on earth. It's beautiful and peaceful, somewhere we looked forward to returning after the chaos of being tourists in Italy. Susanna is so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. She also prepares the most delicious dinners--we ate there every night but one. It was perfect. God willing, we will be back!

Found this wonderful hotel, last minute in a hectic, stressful day! Upon arrival, realized this was a place of calm enjoyment. We were offered to stay for dinner, and had the best meal of our European vacation! Each course, better than the last, with wonderful sunset views of the countryside. Breakfast was equally good! This visit was truly the highlight our our trip!

The hotel is situated in a wonderful country location approximately 5km from the town of Castelfiorentino. Both peaceful and tranquil if you want to relax and chill out with a swimming pool and tennis court. Walking around the garden at the end of the day is a lovely experience amongst Olive and Fig trees as well as the sweet scent of roses permeating the cooler evening air after often very warm days.

Susanna is an excellent hostess and can offer great advice about any trip you want to make including best way to travel, train times, and if travelling by car suggests places of interest on route to or from your planned destination.

An evening meal is planned and the menu displayed at breakfast so you have the choice to eat at the hotel or make other arrangements. The dining room is very comfortable with both table spacing and ambience whilst Guiliano as waiter is always on hand and charming.

Occasionally items in the room were not replaced by the chambermaid i.e. drinks in the fridge & coffee/tea but overall the room was clean & tidy.

To conclude the hotel is perfect as a location for visiting Florence, Sienna, Volterra, San Giminiagno, Monterigioni and others as well as exploring the beautiful countryside.

The owners and their staff work very hard to make their guests have a very enjoyable time. Nothing is too much trouble. The garden is well kept and colourful even in a drought. There is plenty of space to relax. There is a pool,tennis court and table tennis. It is near to so many wonderful hill top villages and towns. Dinner is provided which is good home cooking. This has to be opted in for by 1.00pm on the day. The bedrooms are plain but comfortable and have a refrigerator, kettle and excellent home made biscuits are provided.

The hotel is rustic and quaint, exactly what we needed. The food at the hotel was exceptional, we actually ate there 4 times in our 5 day stay it was that good. The wine is likewise exceptional and very cheap. Susanna and her staff are awesome, so friendly and helpful. I will recommend this place to everyone and certainly revisit the hotel

If you are looking for the perfect setting for a delightful and relaxing holiday in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, your search is over. My financée and I spent an idyllic week at Locanda Le Boscarecce in late July, and we cannot say enough good things about the place. From our second-floor room, the nearby terrace, the open-air restaurant, and the swimming pool, we looked out over the lovely surrounding hills. We basked in the hot summer sun, played tennis, cooled off in the pool, watched spectacular sunsets, and slept peacefully in our clean, spacious, air-conditioned room. The restaurant served fresh, delicious local dishes. But what really set Le Boscarecce apart from other places was our host, Susanna. Not only did she and her staff welcome us warmly and attend to our every need, but Susanna also enhanced our trip and saved us lots of time by acting as our tour guide, a bonus that we were not expecting. She gave us detailed directions (don't leave home without them in Italy) and good advice for our day trips to Florence, Siena and Pisa (all of which can be reached easily and relatively quickly by car), and also recommended that we visit some beautiful, ancient nearby villages that we otherwise would have missed out on. We were fortunate to have a host who takes such pride in sharing the Tuscany experience with her visitors.
