A nice hotel but should be better
Pros:

The hotel setting is attractive with a pretty pool area. The breakfast was superb. The (family) room was a good size

Cons:

The hotel is old so had no air conditioning - but the fans in the rooms were completely inadequate and not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel (it was a hot night, but that’s hardly unusual these days). The room also hasn’t been cleaned properly (cobwebs on the lampshades and a mouldy half-drunk bottle of something that had clearly sat in a cupboard for weeks). In a family room, the choice of complimentary drinks, while a nice thought, was also odd (beer, wine and Coke - none of which I particularly want to give to the kids). Overall, a nice hotel, but standards not what I would expect of a 5-star. Also worth noting, the pool area and the hotel as a whole is relatively formal - probably better suited to couples rather than families.

Pros:

Staff were so friendly . Restaurant Managers attention to detail is exceptional. Food was excellent especially breakfast buffet. Rooms are so comfortable. Looking forward to return visit

Ein unglaublich persönliches und sehr charmantes Haus! Es war alles tipptopp, bis auf unser Zimmer, das direkt über den Lieferanten Eingang lag! Das war unfassbar laut!

4 days of luxury.
Pros:

It’s a beautiful traditional Austrian chapel/ hotel. Walking distance to Kitzbuhel. Stayed here years ago and glad to see it has not changed. Same high standards and outstanding food and service .
