Schöne Badetage am Wörthersee
Pros:

Lage direkt am See mit sehr gutem Zugang
Großer Garten und Liegewiese
Abendessen sehr gut und vielfältig

Cons:

Schirme fast Alle in schlechtem Zustand 😒
Kleinkinder mit Windelhosen (!!) im Pool im Badehaus - sollte eigentlich Ruhepool sein!!!Raumtemperatur im Wintergarten ( wo uns der Tisch zugewiesen wurde)
unangenehm hoch..!!

Cons:

Das Frühstück könnte etwas mehr Abwechselung bieten. Bis auf den Sonntag, wo es auch Räucherlachs gab, jeden Tag exakt dasselbe ( Aufschnitt, Käse, Konfitüre, Cerealien etc. ). Schlecht ist die Entscheidung des Management, das Restaurant "Werzers Bad" nicht mehr als Speiserestaurant zu betreiben. So eine tolle Lage, so ein tolles, gehobenes Essen ( früher ) einzustellen, ist sehr traurig !!

Schön für Wellness und Baden im See, wenn man die Defizite in der Gastronomie und im Service akzeptieren kann.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön in Pörtschach direkt am See. Davon lebt das Haus auch. Durch den Umbau der historischen Badeanstalt ist die ganze Anlage sehr schön angelegt.

Cons:

Leider hat das Niveau sowohl vom Publikum als auch vom Personal und dem Service in den letzten Jahren erheblich nachgelassen. Ich komme als Gast seit 2007 und war nun einige Jahre nicht am See. Ich hatte - aus alter Verbundenheit - das Werzers gebucht und werde nicht nochmal kommen. Einfache Fragen wie ob ich bitte Brot zum Salat bekommen kann werden einfach mit einem kurzen „Nein“ beantwortet. Das Personal wirkt im ganzen Haus wie studentische Aushilfen. Besonders unfreundlich ist der „Frühstücksdirektor“. Es ist beim Frühstück nicht möglich draußen zu sitzen obwohl es eine Außenterasse gibt, die eigentlich zur Bar gehört. So sitzt man bei herrlichem Sommerwetter zum Frühstück drinnen. Das haben andere Hotels wie Seefels, Parkhotel, etc. viel eleganter gelöst. Dem Haus fehlt m.E. leider die „Seele“.

Schönes Hotel mit gutem Frühstück
Pros:

Super Lage, schöner Seezugang und reichhaltiges und gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Überwiegend freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Hatte ein Zimmer mit Badewanne. Die war etwas hoch und daher für mich mühsam zum Ein und Aussteigen beim Duschen. Ich empfehle daher etwas kleineren und älteren Personen beim Buchen ein Zimmer mit Dusche. Leider war die Duschwand billig und optisch nicht mit der sonst sehr hochwertigen und schönen Einrichtung gleichwertig.

Pros:

Sehr gute Lage, direkt am See. Große Liegewiese mit Schatten durch Bäume. Historisches Badehaus, Sauna mit Seeblick. Zimmer groß genug, komfortabel. Gutes Frühstück. Möglichkeit, e-Auto zu laden.

Cons:

KWh fürs Auto kostet 85 Cent, ist also nicht ganz günstig. Muss man wissen.
