Hotel Daniel Graz

Hotel Daniel built in 1886 next to Graz Hbf, was destroyed in WW2 and rebuilt in a architecture style of the early 19-fifties. The hotel offers 108 rooms. The loggia rooms have a balcony. Furnishings and decoration provide a design-focused atmosphere. Service is friendly. Our room had balcony with table & beach-chairs, small side bench, TV & WiFi, a good queen-size bed with excellent down duvets, fridge & Nespresso machine, open wardrobe, washbasin in the room, toilet & shower share the same a sliding door. All was clean. A good buffet breakfast is served: eggs, cold cuts & cheeses, breads & toast, cereals & fruits, milk & yoghurts, juices & preserves, rolls & croissants, tea & coffee. Hotel Daniel is a pleasant city-accommodation, and we had an enjoyable stay. Recommended.

The hotel is in a convenient location, clean and functional. We had an issue with the online booking, price and front desk. When you book direct you get an email confirmation but no details on price. You have to go onto their site to view your booking which is dynamic. The price changed. When I booked on line to when I checked in the price went up by 15 euros. I didn't make a big deal of it when I checked in cause I didn't have written confirmation of the price. The front desk told me breakfast is included at checkin. I confirmed twice the room included breakfast and they said yes. When we checked out they tried to bill me for breakfast separately. I complained and at first she said she will comp one. Then after more discussion she said she will comp both. I think it's a bit deceptive on the online booking process and negligence on the front desk for the misinformation. I was not impressed.

Entrando dal parcheggio e vedendo le scale non sembra il massino. Camere ok. Comoda per i trasporti perche vicina alla stazione ma non al centro storico. Parcheggio solo a pagamento

Habe dort eine Fahrrad ausgeliehen. Perfekter Service, gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Ein sehr cooles Hotel, mit einem besonderen Zimmerkonzept. Für uns (Paar) war es ein angenehmes Zimmer, mit komplizierter Toilettensituation! Nein, ein WC gehört in einen Raum, und nicht hinter Stellwänden. Das war uns (nicht prüde) durchaus unangenehm. Dann, unter unserem Bett fanden wir Federn und Liegendschaften von diversen Vermieter*innen. Auf den ersten Blick war aber alles Ok! Nur der Zweite hat es deutlich getrübt. Trotzdem war unser Grazaufenthalt wunderschön, und das Personal an der Rezeption war überaus freundlich. Ob wir wieder im DANIEL 1886 in Graz einchecken, we don't know...

außen hui, innen pfui

Von außen sehr stylisches Hotel. Innen leider etwas schmuddelig, muffiger Geruch. Das Zimmer war sauber, es fehlt aber ein Kühlschrank und evtl. ein Getränkeautomat. wir haben das Hotel nur gebucht, weil lt. Beschreibung Parkplätze vorhanden sind. Leider waren ständig alle Parkplätze belegt - kein Wunder bei nur einer handvoll Parkplätzen. So mussten wir in der öffentlichen Garage parken und 25€ pro Tag zahlen.
