Decent stay in a spacious room w/ manageable bad smell
Pros:

The room is spacious and has high ceiling.

Cons:

There was a constant bad smell in bathroom. When the bathroom door was closed it doesn’t bother much us but if it was open only a few minutes , that terrible smell was all over in the room. Still we managed it for our stay.

Pros:

The location of the hotel is wonderful, as it is within walking distance of all the city’s attractions. It offers some teas and coffee capsules with milk and sugar, and the room had a coffee machine and a kettle.

I had booked a triple room with a baby cot. The double bed was actually two single beds pushed together, with two separate single duvets.

Cons:

Although I had booked a triple room for 5 nights and had requested a baby cot in advance, which was accepted by the accommodation, when we entered the room in the afternoon of our arrival there was no baby cot. Since there was no staff member available to contact when we needed assistance, they basically told me that they had forgotten about it, even though it had been noted in the reservation. They also said that the staff had already finished their shift and they could not provide a cot at that time.

The first night was a nightmare. If it hadn’t been so expensive and if I could have gotten my money back, I would have left immediately. It was not our responsibility that the baby cot was missing, and there was no willingness to solve the issue immediately because the staff had already finished their shift.

The problems did not stop there. There were not even basic items such as a mini fridge and slippers. The towels were very small, and the room service only did a basic tidying of the room. We had the same towels for 5 days, and the room was neither vacuumed nor mopped during our stay. The housekeeping staff, however, were very polite.

In summary, the location is excellent and very central, and the rooms have a view of the street. However, they lack basic amenities as mentioned above, and for what the hotel offers, it is very expensive.

Easy, no fuss/faff, great location, clean, lovely building

Nothing particularly I didn’t like although there are toiletries provided as highlighted when booking- we had no shampoo when we arrived as this hadn’t been replenished.
